You can relocate anywhere within the state of Ohio, as long as you notify their father in writing of your new address. Moving to another state is where the problem lies. I would love to move from GA, but if I take my kids out of the state I can be arrested for kidnapping. I wish you the best of luck!

You can relocate anywhere in the state so long as it does not interfere with the other parents visitation and rights to his kids. As long as nothing changes with the visitation agreement, then there is no problem with you moving.

if there are no visitation/access rights imposed by the court you are free to go.
in any event, you have the strongest position.
as a courtesy, you could forward to your ex's lawyer a letter stating your intention and request further correspondence be addressed to your own lawyer. it's just to avoid any future allegation that you were hiding something.
I doubt it would come to that, given the age of your children, because they are too old to be forced to live with him against their wishes.

The laws vary from state to state, in my state you cannot take your child more than 50 mi. away from non-custodial parent.
