I hate to break it to you, but since you are stereotyping, you should know that your information is dead wrong. Black males have the highest cases of STD's. The african american population has the highest rate of the Aids epidemic and the divorce rate is only higher amongst WHITE couples because fewer blacks choose to marry.
If you are going to make an ignorant statement, make sure you have the right facts to back it up!

OK that is so not true.I am a white woman that has been married for 15 year.I think that if my hubby would have paid 50.00 on my ring I wouldn't have married him so there wouldn't even be a divorce,now would there be.sounds as thou you got cheated on.maybe you need to splurge alittle more on the ring next go around.

my ring was 120.00. and we have been together 10 years and married the last 4 years of the 10 years we have been together.
we both have upgraded our rings. when we are married for 10 years, which is 6 years away. we are planning our big wedding then. so we are very happy with three kids. good luck buddy. it should not matter about the price of your rings. its what the bond you and that person has...

You obviously have a certain level of mistrust in a woman if you think $50 is enough. Ideally this is a ring to be worn for the rest of your life. If you don;t think so, I wouldn't get married.
