Marriage & Divorce - 26 August 2006

I just got in contact with an old friend from high school. He told me that he is unhappily married, and has a child. He said that he is waiting for the "right time" to fix his situation. I have always thought of him as more than a friend. But for now, he wants us to build a new friendship. He's always cared about me and I know he doesn't want to lose me again. Is it wrong for me to be "friends" with a married man?? Everyone keeps telling me to stay away. Should I stop talking to him? Help!

my friend falls in love with her student who advanced on her first sometime ago. No sexual relationship but purely care and support. She now left for another school because everybody in school knew about it. She is missing him like hell. The student is doing his AS level and has started dating another girl of the same age. I am engaged and planning a wedding, but, I was always hoping to have a big beautiful wedding with all my friends. The problem is that I am new in the country and all my friends live overseas in different countires. My boyfriend is an American and he wants to have the wedding here with his family. My problem is that the "Bride's" guests will be 5-6 people, and I am sad thinking about it. I am trying to think of a different way to have a different kind of wedding, so it will feel happier. Would appreciate any idea you have!

Is it me or what but I feel that women today are not caring as much for relationships and getting married as before. I feel that they are beginning to be the way guys have been for years in the way that they just look for someone for the night.

after one to many times of my husband walking away & nunning to his mom's house. i said no more. he told me he was gonna get my kids. he dint pay bills , we lost our business, we got kicked out of our house. he did everything he could to take everything away from me. i ended up in a hospital for depression. and this is what he now has on me, tha judge give him temp.cus. of our two kids. 5 & 2, she even let him take our kids out of state. he has not let me see them in 21 days. my 5 yr. is having a hard time he wants to see me, he wants to come home. he crying everytime i talk to him,. my husband doesnt answer my phone calls. so i dont get to talk to my kids every nite:( frinday , aug. 18th, my baby girl's & mine birthday, he didnt came back to the state, i dint see her for her birthday and they didnt see me for my. not only me, but thier older brother and older sissters. which are with me. cant find a job. i was able to get us an apartment, monday we move there. can anyone help me, pls

should i leave him because of that bad habbit?
i can't accept the fact of smoking marihuana.
he is a nice guy,but he said he will stop,and then after afew months he do it again!, What should i do?...

He has been abusive. Both of us have had affairs that we have worked through. We have three children together. I wouldn't give him my email password so he threatened divorce. I gave him the password. He than said he was still getting a divorce and now won't answer the phone or return my calls. I don't want a divorce and can't handle this added stress. What do I do???

I will admit that I had a terrible time giving birth to my first child and went through post partum. However I lost ALL of my baby weight and am still fashionable and attractive. I cook, I clean, I SWEAR I do not nag or complain about my husband. Why, why, why does he say that I do not do enough around the house even though it's clean enough for my baby to eat his cheerios off the floor and say I am lousy in bed (I never had any complaints when I was single or before we were married for that matter) and I DO NOT claim I have a headache, I rarely say no to sex. I've done everything I can think of to try and make my husband happy, but I fail dismally. I'm completely miserable.

I dont know who my wife got her advice from, but when she came home a while back and announced that she was going to dress up for me at bedtime i was quite excited. Nurses, baby doll etc , no not quite. One night she was in a bus drivers uniform, another in mechanics overalls, then to top it all dressed as a clown, im really happy to be trying new things but she wont listen to me. i cant see where its doing anything for her either, when dressed as a clown we were having sex and her spring loaded eyes kept popping out. She cant understand im not happy shagging coco the clown or any other of her weird choices.

My life left me about 3 months ago.. she says shes going to divorce me. how do I convince her that the last 3 months has given me time to think and reflect.. I am 18 I got married when I was 16, my husband is much older than me. He is 17 yrs older than me. We have been living together for about a year. His divorce was final 2 months ago.., mine 10 months ago. He has grown children., I have none. We are very much in love and he show me in everyway except he hurts my feelings by not even giving me a promise ring or something!!! I can understand wanting to wait for a period of time before marrying again., but I cant understand not even wanting to give me a symbol of his love and commitment. Besides.., we are going thru the motion of marriage now. We both believe in GOD and want to do our best to do his will and abide by his law. One thing I forgot to mention is that I havent met his kids because he left their mother for me. He wasnt happy there and there was no reason to lead her on anymore. Of course they were hurt, but have come to deal with it. They know he lives with me and he talks to them about me, but I havent met any of them face to face. My husband of 18 years is now living alone in a flat which he has purchased and furnished. 8 months ago I found out he was having an affair. He said it wasn't how it looked but he had wanted to have time out as he wasn't sure he could do the marriage anymore. He is younger than me and has never lived alone. He says he needs time alone to sort himself out. He gave me to understand that the affair is finished. Since he left 2 weeks ago, he has been round the house constantly, he has eaten with us (we have a daughter of 16) he has taken me out to dinner, he has slept at the house once, we have slept together and we are going on holiday just him and I . This is confusing me and I am afraid to love him in case he is just doing this out of guilt only to slowly drop me in the future.I still love him very much and want nothing more than to put this behind us but am afraid to push him for an answer.
