Hire an attorney if you haven't already.

Seriously, this is a clear cut case of manipulation and deceit of the court system. If you present these facts to a lawyer, he or she will undoubtedly tell you there is an obvious way to see your children again.

It sounds like this fella controlled you in some of the worst ways possible. I know you probably already realize this is emotional abuse, but things of this nature are cyclical. Stand up and recognize no one can abuse you and get away with it unless you let them.

Hire that attorney, go over the details of the things you've summarized. Develop a game plan. Control the things you can. Right now, as terrible as it is, there is little you can do to keep your children from being upset. But don't let your husband gain any more leverage for keeping them away from you by hesitating to act. Sitting on your hands, doing nothing, is the best way to show you accept what the judge ordered.

Ill try to help you but I dont think youre going to like my answer so I apologize for it but its the law. Child custody involving two different states is not easy. The law cannot force him to return to your state to face a custody hearing like in a criminal case. The reason the judge gave your husband the children in the first place is not an easy one to overcome either. If and this is a big if, you can get a court date, the burden of proof is on you to prove your better via Drs reports. This will probably cost you plenty and there is no guarantee that you will get your kids back no matter what you do, even if he does volunteerily show up. Wish I could tell you something more promising but other then him being charged with child abuse in his state, there really isnt much you can do, sorry

well I know that an attorney would definetly help and I could give you better advice if I know what state you were in, most states will provide a lawyer if you cant afford one for these cases, but know this if he is living out of state for 6 weeks or more he can claim to be a resident of that state and your chances drop a lot.

I am so sorry to hear this, how horrible. Some lawyers do free services I heard. This is good for their reputation. I'd check for lawyers in your local phone book.
