Marriage & Divorce - 7 August 2006

My parents were seperated for 3 years before they finally got divorced a year ago. Now, my father is seeing another woman. I live with my father, so it's weird when he comes home at 3 AM and I know he was just doing...things...with her. Plus, my mother is one of Jehovah's Witnesses, and used that as shelter to keep her divorce from feeling real. But, in her religion, adultery is the only true grounds for divorce. So now that my father has admittedly slept with another woman, my mother feels like he cheated on her. So I have to deal with her sobbing and venting to me ALL THE TIME about my father being a "horny bastard", and I have to deal with my dad thinking that it doesn't bother me to hear about his love life.

Any tips on dealing with the surrounding insanity?

I've never used a Thighmaster, so I had no idea. My wife told me and I disregarded her. She's pissed again. Do you ever not listen to your significant other and get into trouble?

Say your spouse's family contributed a significant portion of the down payment on a house, since neither you nor your spouse had enough in savings. The spouse's family insists they help you two out and do not expect you to pay them back.

Hey you guys and girls . Here is my thing and I need everyone’s opinion. actually i need help. I just found out that my husband has a hobby; he goes to the stores and takes pics using his camera phone of women’s butts. He tells me that it is Ok, every man does it and women do not mind it. What do you think? Does every man really take pictures of women’s buts at the stores, and does every woman really do not mind? Am i being crazy for being upset with him?

Dated this incredible girl for four years, broke up with her prior to moving to another country. Loved her deeply, but she didn't want to move. Upon return she was married to an old friend. Tried to get over it and moved on -- I thought. Got married, had kids, but still can't get this girl out of my head. I need to forget this person!!!

Does anyone wonder what happens or where the children are when celebrities are out flaunting themselves around town? Now I know that there are nannies galore hired by every one of them... but for instance Tom Cruise & Nicole Kidman's children. Tom is off with Katie and Nicole off with that country guy... but who has custody of their children and where are they living?

Same with other celeb couples... just a thought?

or should I try and sneak out while she's not looking. I need to buy her a birthday present, but we spend so much time together, I never have a chance. Any ideas on how to leave?

How long do you suggest a married couple wait to have children, in an effort to build a strong bond between the two of them? Or simply to enjoy the most time together before the responsibilities of children.

I know some many men that in there 30's but are locked in there teenager years and won't grow up. Thinking life is full of making babies, job hopping or no jobs at all, selling or doing drugs, having many chicks to themselves and living like pigs. Basiclly, NO LIFE! Why is that?

I have more friends as guys than chicks. I just get along with them more. I can party, chill, and kick it just like a guy can. Most chicks can't and they hate on me for that. Why is that?

She got involved with me after I had been married then divorced and we had great physical chemistry. She was smart, amazing, sexy and I wanted to marry her. The guy she was cheating on, meanwhile, was her live-in boyfriend who she had been dating for 10 years. She claimed her reason for cheating was because he couldn't function sexually due to an accident. For a year and a half, she screwed around on him with me...using the excuse: "I cheat on him out of physical need" (but claimed she was never going to leave him because she "loved him more than anything in the world.") Well, she also told me she loved me. So what was she doing? And if she needed sex so badly...why would she marry a guy who can't please her in bed? Am I supposed to assume b/c she married him that things suddenly got better? Or was she really just waiting for him to ask her to marry him? I'm confused and heartbroken because I was crazy about her. I loved her. If you If you find that sad, pls don't mock. It's the truth.

my best friend's ex wife returned her wedding ring to him. he can't return the ring to the jewelry store, but he doesn't want to go to a pawn shop (i think he wants to make sure he gets top dollar for it). I want to help my buddy get closure, so are there any other alternatives out there for returned wedding rings?

I had not been home in 4 years and my relatives had never met my husband. My mother has met my husband 4 other times before, and I think that she likes him. My mother called and asked me if I wanted to meet with more family, I was tired and I did not know what my plans were with my husband. So I said no. Two days later my mother calls my cell phone and asks to speak with my husband but refuses to tell me what about. After I gave the phone to him she asked him if he wanted to join her in meeting with the family. I have never felt so betrayed! Why did my mother do this?

This is a serious question so please take it as such. When my husband and I have sex and he cums, he has an unbelievable amount of fluid, none of my past boyfriends were ever like this. It runs everywhere.... all over the sheets and myself and I have to run to the bathroom holding a towel to keep from making a mess. Is there something that he can do to prevent so much stuff from comming out or should I just accept it as part of married life? My girlfriend says it would be a turn on for her but I just don't find it to be with me.

My Sister who seems to be blinded by love she is 30, she has not long come out of a violent relationship and in Feb this year she met this man in a night club. She first told us he was French until she told me his surname which did not sound French at all to me.

She then dropped that he was from Algeria, which is an arabic country, the complete opposite to what she usually goes for.

In July she announced that she was engaged. They are due to marry in Jan 2007, she also told me that she does not wnat children at all, he told her as soon as they marry she is coming off the pill and they are to have children, I am now thinking that he will kidnap the kids and take them back to his country or something!

Do you think he is after a british passport.

I am a wonderful woman..i cook, clean, am kind to my man...and hey, i put out. My husband loves me very much, and treats me very well. I feel lucky to have found him. I do have one problem. He, like many other men, seems to think that porn is a given right, and that even tho it hurts my feelings and makes me feel insecure, he continues to indulge. After letting him know how I felt, he does do a good job of not making it obvious, which i appreciate....but, i hate just as much the sneaking around to look at it . Then I never know when i get home and he's "turned on" , if it's me (it used to be just me) or if he's all worked up from someone else. And it DOES matter. Am i being difficult...am i expecting something a man, any man, just can't give. To be the ONe and only desire ???

My cousin is paying child support in Illinois for a child who he found out was his when the child was 5. The mother gets medical assistance, food stamps and she is on section 8. In addition to my cousin paying child support, he is supporting the child as well (clothing, food, camp, school supplies etc). Of course he should contribute to his child, but isn't this double paying? The mother said she doesn't get the support payments (I guess it goes to the state?). How can he get off of child support? Why isn't she receiving the money?
