Let's say someone has been married 25 years...do people really stay faithful that long, or is an indiscretion along the way more probable?

I am not talking about some crack-whore on the street, I am talking about organized escorts. Ones that are tested weekly for diseases.

I would go out and pick up some chick from a bar but nowadays they have more diseases than a pile of pig shlt.

Just curious, I know it's different for many people, but after your partner ended a long term relationship with you, did you jump straight into another relationship or give yourself time to heal? If so, how long? And did you managed to find another partner again?

I have a problem with my wife, ok we have a problem. I've been married three months and our fights are getting worst, I try to be the bigger person and just let it go, but she just keeps on and on and on until we just blow up and the fight gets bad. I never have and never will hit a woman, but this girl makes me think twice about that, I don't think I should be with someone that make me that angry right? The point it that's its getting bad and I don't know what to do, I just want to be happy....

My friend phoned the other night she has split from her long term boyfriend. I explained to her that true love last's after most marriages have ended. My fiancee was killed 15 years ago by a drink driver and I was cut out of my car. I had to go through all the guilt that followed. However I have came through and have found someone new. So if you are down lady's don't be, you only get one shot at this life, Go for it! This luckyhedgehog did?

well I have been with this man 9yrs and been married for 6months,My mother inlaw calls everydasy and my hubby thinks its ok,I dont think it is.I think this is not good for the marriage because she wants to know everything going on.This i have noticed makes me and my hubby fight longer.she serves as a good substitute, since he has another woman to talk to when we have issues, and with this he is never in a hurry to make up .I feel like the 3rd person and the second woman in his life. She calls to discuss relevant and irrelevant issues. What makes this worse its the fact that she would rather talk to him than the other kids or even her husband whom she complains about too often.I feel the man is a good man but lacks enough attention.I really do not know what to do especially as I feel my hubby has started discussing our issues and misunderstanding with her. Please advice.....

I want to cut my hair from an inch past my shoulders to just around my chin but am worried how my husband will react. My hair is reallly fine and gets very limp when its long. He's always liked long hair but hates all of the time I spend in the bathroom trying to get mine to do something. A few years ago, back in high school I made a drastic change from mid-back length to a chin length bob and really liked it. Guys I knew that were in their mid 20's to early 30's told me it made me look very classy and sophisticated. Unfourtunately, I had let it grow by the time I met my husband.
I've been telling my husband that short hair is much easier to put back in place after taking off a motorcycle helmet! He just got one and keeps telling me that when I ride with him my hair will be a mess whenever we go somewhere.

My husband has been divorced for over 10 years. During the separation he had an accident. He sued and won money. His wife put in the divorce papers that once he gets the money he has to give his daughter 20%. The ex just recently lost her case for child support since her daughter no longer lives with her. I over heard her mention something to her lawyer about money owed to her daughter. It doesnt say any where in the divorce papers that the money was to be put in her name. Can she sue 10 years later to get this money?

My boyfriend asked me what I thought about getting married. I didn't say no, I said HELL NO. Why on earth would I want to get married? What's the point of it? Thoughts? Ijust don't believe in it. I think it's a waste of time; besides, chances are it WILL NOT last for the rest of our lives; it rarely does. Right? Anyway, ten years afterwards, he'll be screwing some 19 yr old blonde chick, and I'll be a bitter old woman sitting on my front porch in a rocking chair with a shotgun. Why do men even bring it up? They know they can't stick witth it.

I was married and divorced in Maryland, but I currently live in New Jersey. Unfortunately, it is not stated on my divcorce decree that I want to go back to my maiden name. Where do I file for a name change? Do I have to file in MD because that's where I was divorced, or do I file in Jersey because that's where I live? I have already paid my lawyer tons of money and I don't want to pay him anymore. How do I go about doing this?

I made a big mistake and got married and it only lasted three weeks, it is uncontested, we both were hasty and foolish. How long does it take to get divorced, in the case of uncontested does the asset split have to be 50 - 50. I need to know, I am seeing a lawyer soon but wondered if anyone had the answer?
