I have two boys from a previous marriage and he has one son from an ex-girlfriend. Am I asking too much or is he in the wrong. We have enough $. Why not?

Good Morning, Okay So between you both you have 3 children . Right now your husband probably feels like you have a big enough family and he would rather wait . Anyone can have money but it takes more than money to raise a family. Why? not wait some years and ask the question again. Me and my husband have been together for 8 years I have 2 children 25 and 18 .. And since they are all grown I love spending time with my husband he wants a baby I dont my husband is 50 and has no children. I love going on trips and doing what I want when I want. And now he realizes that we dont need a baby to be happy shoot we have so many nieces and nephews. And That is a family in itself so as long as we can give them back to their parents we are content with who we are and what we are doing . So if your husband is not ready to have a baby dont push it as of yet. Raise the 3 you have and be happy even though you dont have a baby by your husband you both still have a family you both are married to each other and you have kids. Ask him in 2 years if he still feels the same dont push it enjoy your time with your husband because when another baby comes you are not going to have time for him trust me you know... Sit back and take a vacation with the children you have... Also You have to think about the kids some children may not want another baby in the house have you talked with them yet some parents dont give their children choices and they rebel so talk and have a family talk and see everyone feelings in this.. It sounds like you and your husband need to sit down and communicate. Just because people have the money, does not necessarily mean that they want to have another child. Find out what is really going on with your husband. Listen to him. Then you talk to him about why you want another child.

Both of you must say yes to go ahead. Having enough money is not the reason to have a baby.

Talk with him and find out what his real reasons are and maybe you can work out something. He may want to wait a little while or he may want to make sure you will be together for a long time.It could be anything.

why bother even considering his feelings. trick him into impregnating you and then he's stuck. even if he decides to break up with you, you can take his @ss to court and get a big fat monthly check.
reality: he has no say.
