I know some many men that in there 30's but are locked in there teenager years and won't grow up. Thinking life is full of making babies, job hopping or no jobs at all, selling or doing drugs, having many chicks to themselves and living like pigs. Basiclly, NO LIFE! Why is that?

Like women, some men grow up and some don't. You just need to be more selective.

Don't go into a relationship thinking you can change the person; find the person you care about because of the way they ARE.

They know there will always be the same type of woman that they can BS. I've seen guys do this their whole life. The part you never hear is when they talk to men who settle down and tell them how jealous they are. Yeah, right and then a second after they drop off their current "love of their life" they are chasing the first woman within talking distance. Some men will never be able to love a woman the way they love themselves. The more "conquests" they have the more they convince themselves how great they are. They believe their own BS.

Most men do not grow up, ever. I think those that appear to have matured are faking it. I know men in their 60s who will never grow up. Educated, otherwise nice men. Don't count on it. That is why women appear to be the ones that want security in a relationship. It is because they are more mature about what to want and expect from life. Men have a life if they get enough sex. That's it. End of story.

That's not all men in their 30s, just men you tend to run across. Some of us are a little more evolved than that.

If you must ask why, let me state that there are women that are also living life the same way. Who can't let go of their teenage years. Who want to party all the time as well.

My theory is that it's all they know and they are comfortable acting the way they act.

The quick answer is most of these "men" grew up in single parent households (read single mother). The lack of a true male role model has led them into this kind of perpetual childhood. If you think it's bad with this generation of 30-somethings just wait until the next one!

I'm trying to figure out why my husband is almost 30 and still plays video games. I understand he works hard but dang can't he take me out instead of breaking out the video games?
He even makes our kids watch him play. They beg to play with him and he won't let them. Now that's childish, especially when he's a dad and husband.
He acts like I'm his mom and makes me pick up after him too. Men are naturally immature little boys that will NEVER grow up. They need to go back home to mama.

A couple of years in the military would fix that. I volunteered during peacetime a long time ago and now I'm totally self-sufficient. Guys nowadays need to have more discipline!!!

Not all men are like that. Depends on where you are meeting men. Try broadening your whereabouts and you may find some perfect (or nearly) perfect gentlemen.

It's awful and it's wrong, but there are a lot of men like that.

I'm so grateful my husband is not one of them!! Just hope you don't come across one.

A lot of guys are afraid of commitment. I wish I could find a nice girl friend that could keep her legs closed.
