Maybe I should clarify a few things. My husband works 2 jobs because he doesn't like doing the family thing. I am a full time nursing student and mom (so I actually have a 24/7 full time job). We have 5 children. A 16 year old whose mom left when he was 18 months old, that has no respect for me or anyone else in this house except his dad; he is here with me ALL the time day in day out, a 9 year old that I pick up, take care of by myself and take home every WED and every other weekend, then there are two boys ages 8 & 7 and a little girl age 5 that are here all the time. I have done the single mom with 3 kids thing because their dad is a piece of ****. My husband loves all of us I am sure but I didn't get remarried to be alone. I am VERY aware my blessings and thank God for them every day. I hardly think that birth control is a rational answer(to the smartasses), I wouldn't take anything for any of the kids. My question was how do deal with being unappreciated and alone?!!!!

My boyfriend of 6 years walked out on me and our 4 year old son a few weeks ago,i`m still heartbroken but people are telling me just to put on a brave face when he`s visiting our son,so when i was speaking to him on the phone at the weekend i was acting all confident and happy so he now thinks i`m over him.Should i keep up the pretence,when deep down my heart is still breaking?I`ve been told that if he see`s a new confident happy person he`ll realise i`m not the same wreck that he left and may fall back in love with this new me,but i`m not so sure.I have grown in confidence these last few weeks as i`ve had to stand on my own to feet for the first time in my life and be the adult in the house for a change.So do i carry on with the pretence or let him know i`m still love with him and still really upset??I`ve been told i have nothing to lose in trying this but what if it doesn`t turn out as i hope?help!!

He works 2 jobs to make "extra money" but I hardly ever see any of the "extra" money going toward our bills. I get sick of setting at home by my self when my kids visit their father and I also take care of his children while he works. He also likes to work late until 10 or 11 at night sometimes. He plays the silent treatment crap alot too. I really love him a lot but I am getting fed up!

It seemed that - once married - our love-making dipped somewhat and certain acts of foreplay disappeared from the agenda. Not from mine, I hasten to add !

I married for the wrong reasons. I got pregnant young and married. The one i loved left a year b4 to join the military. after my 3rd year of marriage, I wanted out but could not afford to leave. By the 12 th year we had grown apart and i was preparing to leave, but my spouse got sick. so i stayed to take care of him. I saw my old flame not too long ago. and it was as if we never departed. we could not talk because the spouse was there. My body is home, but my heart is somewhere else.
