Hmm. Wow. I'm going to make my husband read this question. I think it's just about the most romantic thing I've ever seen a man wanting to do for his lady. Then again, I'm also very interested in oriental culture and cuisine.
I can't say with 100% certainty what my reaction would be, as I'd be so flabbergasted I'd be left completely speechless. I think at that point it would be a "whatever YOU want" scenario. And the utter appreciation would probably last for WEEKS.

I would be very pleased and surprised. I would totally enjoy the evening with my husband. I would be greatful and happy about it. Later I would of course be in a very happy mood and want to do something for him or show him how happy I was for such a romantic evening. To think about me that much and go out of his way to do something like that pleases me more than the whole asian theme. My husband has done things like that and I always do appreciate it cause it doesn't happen all the time.

Um...my hubby gives bad massages. But I would definitely appreciate the gesture. And I'm NOT the type that gushes and goes 'Awww...' at romantic things. I take it in stride and just smile most of the time. I'd hug him for ten minutes then he'll know I was grateful. Then we'll get busy...

I would probably 1st wonder what he had done wrong, then I would ignore that thought, enjoy the food and the bath and the passionate sex to follow, then, just as he was fading off to sleep, ask him what he'd done.

XXXXXXXXXXXXX Actually I'd be pretty pissed. We have expensive antiques from around the world throughout our entire home. All old school stuff. Our decor is totally Western. Gene Autry type stuff, covered wagons, praire scene oil paintings, antique horses ........Asia goes with nothing. I'd probably end up in the hospital from a heart attack. If I was really into Asian things then I guess I would find it to be nice that my partner went through all the trouble. Something like that would be a nice surprise if your partner likes surprises - I personally like to plan and do things together and be surprised by jewelry instead =P

Personally, I would think he is a true romantic fulfilling a harmless fantasy. He has spent some time planning a nothing less than perfect evening and planned to spend some really special time with you. Relax and enjoy!

I would react in by being so happy, I don't mind asian decorated but not too much. Everything else would make me feel so loved and just in heaven, I'd react by just enjoying and loving every min of it.
