Well me and my wife have been seperated for the last month. Its the most difficult thing Ive been through and i regret all the pain I caused my wife. She has been keeping in touch, gets jealous when i talk about girls just in general. Ive never touched or been out with another girl, besides a friend date. Weve met twice since the seperation. The first time she ask me if ive been hanging out with buddies or girls. I said buddies and ask her the same. She said just friends. It was really awkward and business like. Last Friday we met again, and it was much different. We laughed, told jokes and she gave away all the signs that someone is in to u. She played with her bracelets nervously, played with her hair, was googling over me, and leaning towards me. She said though that if we get back together i MAY have to accept the fact she has been seeing other people. We said it was nice seeing u and we smiled at eachother like when we first went out. Why would she say the guy thing who does that?

I've been married for over 8 years and my spouse and I seem to no longer have anything in common. I want to move out of state. He doesn't. I would love to adopt. He won't. I would like to own my own business...(and he discourages me every chance he gets.) In fact, he knew since the day he met me that I wanted to start my own business one day. What makes it so bad is that there is never any compromise on the big things? It is his way or no way. I feel so stiffled in my marriage. I want to move on , but I it all seems so overwhelming. How does go about the process of moving on?

Where I live, we would need to be separated for at least a year before I file for divorce if the reason is irreconcilable differences. I knew it depends on the person and the circumstance, but how painful is the whole separation/divorce process?

Suddenly he is miserable. I don't have a problem with divorce. Kids are grown, I have a career. He is a retired marine. He started getting verbally abusive in the end.

I have a good friend who has been in a relationship with her boo for sometime...
When they first got together He would tell her he loved her all the time, they would kiss in public, hold hands, suggle on the couch.
They were acording to her having sex three or four times a day..
She is now confused and alone..
She tells me that they no longer do any of the above...
That he comes home from work and sitts on the couch, eats dinner and goes to bed, there is nothing between them..
She tells me she is not getting any help around the house, and only gets attention when he needs something.
She feels she is being used, and that he only cares that the house is clean and his needs are taken care of.
When i asked if she has talked to him she said yes and he told her that he loves her very much, that she is the love of his life, and would die if he was to loss her, and that he doesnt have any disire to have sex , and that even going to the strippers is not apealing

WHAT SHOULD SHE DO

Honestly, if you were relatively happily married and you found another love..... would you be willing to accept that the married love would stop loving you if they found of your new love.... even though the new love has no intentions of providing for you. How would you react really. I don't need any marriage is a lifetime commitment.... I have enough of that, I need honest answers. If you found love that was stronger than the love you had, would you want it more knowing you would lose the love you know?

His father thinks when I ground him he should still be able to have friends over. Best of all when he didn't come home I grounded him for 4 days and he took off when I wasn't looking. When he came back I told him he has now lost his computer and the phone for a week. He took off to his fathers because he NEVER DISIPLINES him or ever backs my disiple. My son doesn't want to be told what to do...wants no rules. He has failed the 9th grade...lied.. and is now staying out all night. His father told me no wonder our son gets mad at me ..you give him things(computer) then take them away. My thought is...isn't that how it works...take it away and they earn it back. No matter what the issue is..it is never our sons fault always reasons why he is doing this...but none of them our our sons fault. he feels there doesn't need to be conseqeunses for his actions. I tell our son he needs to take ownership for the things he does.. Please help very upset by all this.

These days, most marriages end, is it possible for one person in the couple to save the relationship just by having faith, or is it hopeless?

I'm pretty traditional. I would like to be married and have children...raise a family and live a productive family life. Divorce has raise to 60% in the U.S. Does this scare you into getting married? Is your family still in that traditional lifestyle where they expect you to be married a certain age and do you feel pressured sometimes? Do you think rushing into marriage is one reason why the divorce rate is so high now? What do you think the reasons are for this high rate? Is it over-rated or is it possible that just "living with someone" is a healthier relationship that forcing marriage? Is marriage thought more of as a tax break or is the traditional "love and matrimony" no longer exist?
