I always thought of marriage as just a piece of paper,but lately its been weighing on my mind. Arent I worth being more than just "the girlfriend"..or "the mom". I wont give an ultimatum for this , if Im not what hes looking for in a wife then we can move on. But Im beginnning to think Im wasting my time

You really need to talk to him. SERIOUSLY!!! Its been 5 years overdue. I completly understand how you feel you need to be in a marriage. You need to sit down with him and let him know that it been 5 years and kids and that your not just here to be here. Its time for a ring honey and some serious commitment. Good Luck

my husband and i had 3 sons before we married.it was time.if you are good enough to be the mother of his kids,he should marry you.you need to bring it up more.let him know this is what you want.sometimes we have to fight for what we wont.you can tell if he really loves you.if he don't wont to maybe he needs a little space without you and the kids.he is getting the milk for free

if you are happy and truly love eachother, is it really that important to get married? if the answer is yes, then you have to talk to him honestly about it, and get to the bottom of what his reasons for not wanting to are...the grass isn't always greener on the other side, ya know!

maybe you need to sit down and tell him how you feel!! you are making it easy for him. you take care of yourself, kids, and even him.... take control of your life- stand up tell him what you want. if he does not want to make it official- go your separate ways.
