No it isn't cheating if you have permission. Here's why: In school you took tests that you had to answer with the information that you had in your head. You couldn't open the book to look stuff up, you had to have the commitment to learn the stuff on the test. Then one day the teacher said the next test you can open the book to see if what you think is right, in your head, is really right. You can use the book to look up the answers on the test.
In that case you aren't cheating because the rules changed to allow you to do something that previously would be classified as cheating. Now it isn't cheating. Why would cheating in any other situation be any different? If you have permission it isn't cheating.
In a relationship "cheating" isn't the act of doing something with another person, cheating is the breaking of the commitment not to "open the book". You cheated when you made up your mind to see the other person, not when you did whatever you were going to do. Cheating is breaking the rules or promises that you made. If the rules change, then it isn't cheating. Do you really want to open that book? Stick with the knowledge that you have inside and respect the rules....even if they have been changed. Good luck

firstly it depends who gave u permission, if ur best mate gave u permission to cheat on ur partner than obviously yes its cheating. however if u have a open relationship where ur both free to sleep with others than no its not cheating. Cheating is when u decieve your partner by sleeping with someone else without their knowledge.

It's only cheating the 4th time if you have permission...So cheat 3 times and let them know you didn't do it a forth time...let me know how it all works out!

it's not cheating; it's worse. when you cheat, you still feel that non-committal is not the thing to pursue. when you have permission, you are making the wrong thing a way of life.
you should abstain, until you figure out what is right and wrong. you obviously can't think straight when you have you mind hijacked by hormones.

Absolutely.
If you were cheating on a test, even after you were giving permission to cheat... you still cheated.

Yes. It's still a shortcut to satisfication instead of growing with a partner, which is what cheating's all about. You have to decide if it's wrong though, and for that you follow you're heart.

It's a trick. Don't do it. Whoever gave you permission to cheat is setting you up. Look out!! Don't do it. I've seen this trick before!!!

No, I wouldn't consider it cheating if you have permission. "Cheating" indicates intent to deceive. If the other person knows and gives his/her consent, then it is not cheating.
