Have been married for 4 years and with partner for 6 but I have fallen out of love with him. I have tried for so long to make it work and can only see my future without him. We have a daughter who is 5 but I can't see that by staying together for her sake will make it any any easier. I am not happy so feel should tell him. But how??

I have lived 20 years with my husband. We have two children: 12 and 9.
There has always been "something missing" in our relationship (I was very attracted to him, he was not to me, never been, therefore very little sex). He is a good person, although extremely "unavailable" (hours spent at work, absent mind when with me, not interested to talk, hardly any demonstration of affection, no "emotional commitment"). I suppose you get the picture. So, I feel this big gap and I suppose he now knows what I am referring to because he had his mid-life crisis affair -fatal attraction style- for the whole of last year and that has shaken us quite a bit.
We operate very well for most of the practical stuff in life, including raising children, excluding money because that is his way of keeping control of things.
We live in a very large and stressful city. Do you feel it is possible to separate while keeping the "damage" to the children as small as possible? Experiences? Advice? Suggestions? Tks!!

Honesylt,i love him more than anything but i am reasonable.i think a husband doesn't need to be rich but u at least u can see he works hard for our future.however,i can't feel he is reliable.he did work for 2 jobs to support his ex-ex and ex,but now we are running out of money,i can't feel he doesn any effort for us.he said i was the one he had never loved such deeply and wanted to be with me more,is it an excuse that he doesn't work hard?
he always oversleeps,no matter for work or to see me which annoys me alot.do i misunderstnad him or he is not that reliable?we have planned to get married next year but i don't have much confident for our future.he always tells me how hard he is working for us but sorry,i can't see.i can't get any security feeling from him,he can't make me feel calm.i love him and don't know what to do.

I live in Washington State. Can I voluntarily dismiss my ex-husbands child support obligation for my son? My ex-husband is not my sons’ real father. There is no father listed on the birth certificate and I am certain he is not the real father. My ex-husband pays $50 a month support for him. We did this so that my ex-husband could continue medical coverage for him. The insurance company would not cover him if my ex were not showing some sort of support for him. I since have gotten re-married and can add him to my present husbands insurance. The thing is the $600 a year I get for him is nothing. The $50 a month barely covers hot lunch money. I want to modify the original documents to have him removed completely or IF ANYONE OUT THERE THINKS I HAVE A GOOD COURT CASE TO RECEIVE FULL SUPPORT FOR HIM. He exercises a regular setup visitation with my ex-husband. If I can’t raise support I would like to voluntarily dismiss him paying the $50. By doing this I would gain a deduction on my income taxes. The original court document states I can claim our daughter as a deduction and my ex takes my son until my son is 18 then we alternate claiming our daughter. We did it this way to convince the insurance company my ex was supporting him. Don’t know if it made a difference. He pays only $575 per month for my daughter. I figure the only change my ex may request is to start alternating the deduction for our daughter. Our divorce will be having a 2-year anniversary on July 15th. It’s been two years almost. At the time my ex made $46,000~ net a year and I made less then $4,000 a year working part time. In no way do I want anyone to think I am trying to change the relationship that they have because it’s a true father son relationship. I am not going to deny my ex visitation. I have never, never ever talked bad about to the kids. I have always said to him if the kids want to go see you then that’s fine with me. I might add that in the original court documents he was responsible for paying support with no exceptions in writing and now this summer he has the kids for 45 days and thinks he doesn’t have to pay support to me for that time. I’m almost certain this is not true. DOSE ANYONE OUT THERE KNOW ABOUT THIS?

I know a Croatian girl who has lived in London for 10 years or so. When she first came to London, she was really pissed off that she didn't turn heads when she walked sexily down the street. She's not bad looking (in my opinion) but also nothing special really. She was used to it, in her home town of Zagreb, walking down the street and having guys wolf whistle her etc. and then she'd gladly tell them where to go. As a side note to this, she is now married to a good friend of mine (that's how I know her) who never had that much luck with the ladies in England, but when he goes to Croatia on holiday with her, all the women fancy him like mad! Obviously, that's why she chose him. Even though he's English, he is quite dark skinned and has been mistaken for a Pakistani in the past. It's just that I thought that looks were pretty much universal, but it seems not. Any thoughts?

Help! My Four year old daughter just returned after a weekend visit with her father. When I approached the vehicle to get her she began calling me a liar. Her father told her to stop telling me. I reassured her she was ok. and could tell me anything. She then said why did you leave my daddy and call the police on him?Why are you trying to get him in trouble? Why are you a liar? I HATE you MOMMY. Daddy say's not to come with you. I then hold back the tears and tell her dad to put her in my car.He does.Once the door is shut I say to him What are you doing? He say's I am not going to Lie to her! I say well You must know you cannot tell a 4 year old her mother is a cheating liar. Her father say's that's what you are.Meanwhile his girlfriend say's to me we didn't say anything. I went to court the next day for an emergency hearing and the judge say's no more visit's until a hearing in two weeks. Supervised Visits? Am I Crazy?

I sent my bf, who is living far from me, an email that I agreed to continue being couple after some "breaking up" problems we had. Then, I haven't got his reply for two weeks. I want to ask u:
- what does he mean from his silence if he got my mail? I am not sure he got my email already.
- what should I do? send another mail or wait ? What to say in the next email?
some more hints:
- his business is becoming so bad. But i didnt't know it earlier.
- I don't think I should call him.

I'm 34 and I have three children, I've been married for thirteen years, I just recently found out that my husband is having an affair, he denies it, but there are pictures, and they tell the story. Because of work we are apart from time to time, just recently has been the longest time, but I always thought our marriage was strong, that we can survive anything, but, I think he loves her and the only reason why he is staying is for monetary reasons, I tried talking to him about it, but he pretends he has done nothing wrong, but I can't live my life with this tension,I have barely eaten or slept since I found out. I understand that he got lonely, that does not excuse it, but I just wish he would make a decision at least then I can start accepting and move on. I don't want to be a single mother and I like to try if no more then for my childrens sake, but how can that even happen if he does not admit to his wrong doings. What do I do?

Automatically assume that the 3rd person involved in a separated relationship is the one that caused the problem?
I have been berated for being a friend to woman that had her husband of 20 years leave her. I was and still am single today
I felt so sorry for her. I didn't have anything to do with him leaving her. I was her only friend, she spoke very little English.
I spoke to her, because no one else did.
Ya know what, I am one of those guys that finish last and I bet I have more people at my funeral than the majority of you people that have no morals, i.e. cheaters, liars etc.

So the woman had some beers, the husband too. A fight started. It ended with some shouts and kicks, which resulted in some bruises. The woman does not know what to do now. It is a young modern family; the husband almost never drinks. What should she do?

I have been with my husband for 10 years. He treats me bad, tells me I'm stupid, won't let me drive his Beamer, and when I wasn't working he told me that I had to stay in the house because I needed to earn my way to go anywhere. He hasn't taken me out in years, constantly criticizes me, and works 16 hours a day. I met a man with my friend who finds me attractive and is into me(unlike my husband).I keep thinking of cheating on my husband.
