because that's not always possible, I earn more than my b/f and enjoy my career, we could not afford to live if I gave up my job and he supported us, and that's no way to bring a baby into this world. Things have changed in this century, there are more opportunities for women to have successful career, so why should we give up our jobs to stay at home, when it would put our family in a difficult position financially. Not all of us are lucky enough to earn enough money to live on one wage, especially in London UK.

It's wonderful that you are happy with your wife. You might ask her if she is happy herself and happy with you. Wait 7 or so years and then see how you both feel. It's sad to say but the odds are against married people staying happily married.

the bad part of this is that you make me feel very much against marriage because of the way you open the subject. men like you are the motive for me feeling insecure about getting married.

Lol. :D

I think women should fight for their own rights when they need to. I think women should be proud to be women. Feminists are just way too uptight. I think it's just fine to be a proud woman...but to give yourself to a man too.
