The very fact that he is an ex suggests that there is a loop of trust being broken over and over again. It is only up to you to decide if you want to play life at the same level again and again or move on to a new and inproved scenario.

I'm guessing you mean blind.

Well, best assumption I can make from such a question is that he's blinded to others that are only acting nice in front of him, and he himself doesn't realize it... therefore he fell for them, and you don't know if you can trust him/her.. as in you're interested in getting back with him/her?

Best guess really, it's hard to tell from your question, but if I guessed the above right, then you know what. You just have to make friends with him/her all over again to first give him more information about what really is out there. Don't put your all into it yet, as in reality, most don't care about this sort of unconditional sacrifices... but stay positive, be nice, and be honest on what you choose to say, and go from there. Learn to make friends all over again, give both of you the chance to really see it all anew.

Cheers!
