i asked her to marry me and she said yes but her father said No, with out even listening to me.i love her daughter and im ready to give my whole life for her. do you think we ganna he will agree at last and what should i do to make him change his opinion and say Yes, by the way both her parents roots are iraqis and she loves me.

If I were her father, I'd say no too, but not because of the citizenship thing, but because she's too young to be married. Her father probably thinks about her future. She hasn't been to University yet and just gotten out of High school. A father is interested in financial security for his daughter and the character of the man who marries her. If you want to win over the father, you need to show him that you can support his daughter, regardless whether she wants to continue to study or not. He's probably worried that she'll soon be pregnant and not have a life. Think about it. What would you want for your daughter if she was only 18.

I say first of all she's toooo young to get married right now.
Second: why don't you try your best to gain a scholarship to the US or whatever means to get there & by doing so you will prove to her parents that you are actually doing something useful other than fooling around with their daughter!
Third: Be 150% sure about your decisions & then act accordingly!

forget about americans, they will never accept u and they will never allow u to live their.If they do they will treat u very bad and u will have a miserable life.Why don't u marry a nice Muslim girl from ur country or any other Islamic country around.good luck

she's of legal age where she doesn't need anyone's consent...if she doesn't care about maybe losing her family's support then go ahead and send for her...but don't be surprised if she's a little immature...she really needs to be in college somewhere.
