I'm wondering if anybody out there know if there are pre-marital counselors in the Southern California area that is low cost or free? No ministers please. Me and my boyfriend are contemplating marriage in a few years. Any interns or graduate students interested in counseling in Los Angeles?

I have been married for 4 and a half years. My husband had very serious family conflict with his parents and financial failiure in the beginning of our marriage. He said he was depressed. We didn't have sex for first 4 years of our marriage. After fighting and arguing, he reluctantly tried to sex (also it was time for us to have baby) He doesn't have sexual interest, sometimes I wonder if he is asexual. Also, first one year and half of our marriage, I was supporting us financially by myself. He could have helped me to make us get by, by getting any job that he could get. But he just told me he applied and can't get a job. (Often I saw him playing video games) My earning was not enough that we borrowed money from various family members and used our wedding money that was given by my parents. He didn't even get me a engagement ring. I still find myself trying to figure out how we can be financially stable by myself. He said he is trying but it doesn't seem like it. We have no baby.

My boyfriend proposed I said yes. I dont love him. He is a great guy compared to all the jerks I have dated before. He dont drink or smoke. He helps me take care of my 2 young kids. The like him very much. He is a grad student from college. He treats me like a princess & would do anything for me. Im afraid I will not find another great guy like him. Should I just deal with it to have a great husband and a good romodel for my kids. Im only 23 years old.

Why is it that widows/widowers are pressured into "finding someone new". ive noticed that a lot..and it bothers me. Why not just leave them be! if my wife passed and i was left here without her...that's IT. she is my soul mate, my bestfriend. she is THE one. so why is it that people pressure others (widows esp.) into re-marriying??

And that man can look and gawk but if he catches his wife doing it then she is wrong. So tell me what do you think? A married man gawking at other women like they are a piece of meat. Are all men gawkers?

I beleive in GOD,. But there is one thing in the bible that is so hard for me to understand. In the bible it says that if you divorce that you can not remarry becuase the person you marry would be commiting adultry. I know that you can get a divorce in GOD'S eye due to adultry and abuse(and it is not defined as physical, verbal, or emotional). But my thing is what if you are not happy any more and you are being verbally and emotionally abused.
But even if the two of you deside to marry that person would be commiting adultry. But I feel that GOD would want all of his children to be happy.
Can anyone please shead some light on this for me.

I would just like to know how does your Marine husband act when he's upset or angry? My husband gets very defensive like he has to attack me back or something, kind of childish, yells, sometimes curses, will hit somthing across the room, or just run away. I'm just trying to figue out how much of this is my husand and how much of this is about the Marine Corp. Do you husbands act the same?
