I can tell you what NOT to do from experience. Do NOT ask why or ask for specifics of what he finds sexy!!! Anyway, what do you want to say? You shouldn't say anything you do not FEEL at the moment. A simple thank you or smile or "you are soo sweet" or "you are sooo good to me" would suffice if you don't have a compliment you feel like giving him at the moment. But you should compliment him occasionally whether or not it is when he compliments you. Maybe, at a time other than right after he says this to you you could tell him you love to hear him saying that but sometimes get embarrased and ask how he would like you to respond. Maybe he wants you to respond with a hug or a kiss or more. . .

you should be totally gratefull and must be very special to him. most husbands no days after being married a couple of years, wont tell there wifes that. you are very , very lucky to have him.i tell my wife that all the time,she still gives me goose bumps to see her in a pair of tight jeans or shorts.
