I have to say yes to that. Once trust is gone it is hard to get back. I have 0 tolerence for cheating. If a person is forgiven once for cheating, who is to say that she/he might not think that hey maybe becasue I was forgiven this time, I will be forgiven again. If you don't want to be with a specific person, you should end it before starting with someone else.

to the first part of your question, no, i dont believe that is true in every case. it depends on the person. I can answer this one because i have been a cheater. i have cheated on husbands and i have cheated on boyfriends. Why? Immaturity and selfishness and in some instances, might have been about revenge, there are many possible reasons, but the bottom line is immaturity and selfishness. I made a decision one day that i would never cheat again, and i havent and i know i wont. so in my case, i grew up. would i give a person a second chance? absolutely not. if i go shoplift from wal-mart and get caught, will the police give me a second chance? ummmm, no. If i murder my neighbor and get caught, will i get a rap on the knuckles and a second chance? nope. the law of marriage has been broken. Its over.

Well.. my take on cheating is this: Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me.
My personal opinion is that once a person decided to cheat on me, that's the end of it. Trust is gone and in this regard, I don't give a second chance because I know I could never trust that person again, let alone forget it. So I'm not wasting my time on second chances. The cheater should have thought of the consequences before he dropped his pants.

You can give them a chance even though they got caught, but yes once a cheater, always a cheater. Been with two of them, so I can tell you.

Are you talking about "cheating" as in had sex with another person? If that is what you are talking about then yes, such a person will do this again and again, No do not give him a second chance. Why would you want to waste anymore time on this person? There are a lot of better people out there. Leave this one for a girl who has no self-esteem and likes to be dumped on.

Cheating happens for so many reasons and to so many people. It depends if the person is someone who you instinctively think is good and feels true remorse for what they did then you have to think long and hard if you are willing to cut them out of your life completely. I do think some people are predisposed to be cheater and they forever will cheat. If the person in question is a cheater then get rid of the SOB because he will always do it and he will bring home a disease or two. Why should you suffer for his sex addiction and dishonesty. Move on and take care of yourself and don't put him in front of you put him behind you.

Yes to once a cheater always a cheater. I've known way to many people, men and women, that have done it over and over again.
If caught? No second chances, but that's just me. Ask my ex about me and second chances.

WELL IT DEPENDS ON WHAT THEY WHERE CAUGHT DOING. SEX, NO SECOND CHANCE EVER. ANYTHING ELSE IT'S HOW YOU FEEL AND IF YOU BELIEVE HE WILL NOT DO IT AGAIN THEN GO AHEAD AND GIVE HIM ANOTHER CHANCE. SOME PEOPLE REALIZE WHAT THEY DID WAS WRONG AND THEY WON'T DO IT AGAIN. IT ALSO DEPENDS ON HOW LONG YOU HAVE BEEN TOGETHER AND HOW OLD THE PERSON IS. TAKE A BREAK LET HIM SEE WHAT HE WILL LOSE IF HE IS GOING TO CHEAT ON YOU. BUT IT WILL BE EXTREMELY HARD FOR YOU TO TRUST HIM EVER AGAIN.AND WHEN HE GOES SOME WHERE YOU WILL ALWAYS THINK ABOUT WHERE HE IS GOING AND IF HE IS WITH A GIRL. MAKE A LIST PROS AND CONS THE GOOD AND THE BAD ABOUT YOUR RELATIONSHIP. GO WITH HOW YOU FEEL IN YOUR HEART.

Depends on the situation. I hope the first part of your question is false. I'm currently trying to forgive my man for cheating. It is really hard to love someone after they have hurt you so much, but if you feel it's worth it, yes they deserve a second chance.
