I have two friends, Tom and Susan. They've been best friends for a year and I am a new addition to the group. I met Susan through Tom in August. She's called me her best friend since we met. The guy and I have been friends since April of this year.

In August, Tom and I went out with Susan and her bf and later slept over at her bf's place. Tom and I were attracted to each other and ended up having sex. Susan and her bf kept asking me about whether Tom and I were dating because he'd keep bringing me around. Susan told me that Tom doesn't deserve me and I shouldn't date anyone for a while because I just got out of a 4 year relationship in June.

Tom and I decided to just be friends a month ago. But he'd keep calling me to hang out. For weeks Susan didn't call me. I found out later from Susan that Tom "begged" her not to be friends with me because he and I had sex and it would be awkward.

Susan told me that she liked me and didn't want to share me with her bf or Tom. She's straight.

hey guys,i had a very bad day at school today.Ther is this girl,called Julia.she came to this school at the start of the year and i thought she was nice but now she has turned into a total monster!today she kept making fun of me and she told the whole class that I'm anorexic,but I;m NOT!!so I don;t know what that's all about..anyways..In art class today,i told her that i didn't want to fight because it's pathetic and she told me "anorexic b****,fine,i'll still keep fighting!" and..yeah that didn't really make sense,i was trying to make peace!and now she's getting half of the class involved and people keep asking me "are you anorexic" an stuff.Julia keeps spreading very mean rumors about me..i even had a girl from my class come up to me and say "does your door swing one way or both ways?"..i dread going to school tomorrow,what can I do? =(any advice?

She is saying things that are untrue about me. Yet she considers me as her friend! When people are not around us she always say something bad about them even if that person is also our friend. I really can't take that kind of attitude. Also, she's so superficial when it comes to making friends.

I tried as much as possible to stay away from her. But she's always the one approaching me, texting me, going to my dorm and stuffs. Need help. Thanks.

arrite folks! I am seriously in luv with this girl. she is sister to one of my class mates. Once our batch at university was hanging out on a beach and this girl was a few face there. Upon inquiring I came to know she is sister to one of our class mates and honestly, it was a luv at first sight. Since we were total strangers so it was difficult getting to know her at first. However I managed to talk to her and now we are good friends. I want to take our relationship to next level. I have tried to convey my feelings but it appears that she is reluctant to respond to my feelings. She wants us to stay just friends. Remember she understands my feelings but she is reluctant to respond. She told she couldn't tell the reasons. We have been talking through SMSs only. We have met only 3 times and those meetings didn't last more than 5 minutes. Honest suggestion only please..

Short version of the story I have had a best friend for 10 years and she got this bf that has completely taken over her life setting him aside she take on average a week or more to call me back, after telling me she would be down for dinner on my bday did not come down. And she knows I am going through one of the hardest time of my life with my dad currently dieing of cancer. I just feel as though I can not count on her any more and this has nothing directly to do with him it has to do with her not being there as a friend for an occasional call/text/im/email. I need to tell her this but the only way I seem to get a response somewhat quickly is through email. I need advice....below you will find a copy of what I am planning on sending to her please let me know what you think

We have been best friends for twenty years and he is a talented young man, also a minister. We met and worked together in church as musicians and became like big-sister and brother, We are both Christians and live for the Lord. My fiance is 65 and says it will be diisrespectful. I am 63 and would like an honest opinion since I feel that I will be ashamed to put a best friend in a hote. my male friend is terrible for getting in contact hes always more than happy doing stuff with me but its normally me who has to phone him to do stuff like in work i ask him to the canteen or when he wants me to go over his place he asks me to phone him. I do think he likes me but i get paranoid as he dont initate much. Im not after him and he has a gf i just hate the fact i got to do the contacting. My friends smoke weed and personally, I have never thought of doing it. Now, I promised some friends I'd smoke some with them and a few nights ago I had an opportunity and I passed it up. I really wanted to but I have never smoked weed before and I don't know how to. I've even read up on it. Can someone tell me how to smoke weed out of a pipe?? This one day, I almost missed the bus, right? When I finally get on the bus, I don't really have time to walk to the back where I usually sit. So I sit next to this girl. She introduces herself as Sarah and starts up a conversation. We talk a couple more times in the school Caf., then BAM! We're best friends. I go to my locker after-school, and she's there. I go to sit on the bus after-school, and she's in MY seat, the one I've been sitting on since SIXTH grade, and expects me to sit next to her. She's always bombarding me with e-mails. Calls 5 million times a day. It's creepy, stalk-erish and extremely annoying! Whenever someone says something funny, she punches me on the shoulder. Real hard. It's starting to bruise. She's like this parasite thats sucking the LIFE outta me!
Whenever I see her, I think 'Shoot me now.' So... How do I tell her off? It doesn't have to be nicely done, either. I'm contemplating murder at this point. Or suicide. Anything for some peace.

In my case, literally, less than 5 mintues. After an argument, regardless of who did the wrong thing first, either of us would call each other and apologize. Why do you think it happens? Do you think we have a strong bond? We have been childhood friends for 13 years, and I just happened to think about it recently. Do you have best friend with such a strong bond?

I know it may be partially my fault, but I can not be the only one to blame.
I have the WORST luck with friends! I know that I am choosing these people, but they don't start out that way. My life has been this way since I was 12. It is now over 20 years later, and it seems as if history is just repeating itself time and time again.
Are there really people out there who can be a true friend. People who are not just out to get you, and see what they can get out of you?
I'm giving up hope. :(

My mom doesnt let me go anywhere alone even tho all my friends go 2 other "cities" alone since 4th GRADE!!! I tryed talking 2 her but all she does is say "I dont wanna talk with you"

I went vegetarian for a while, but then my parents went totally against it. They would put meat in most of the things I ate. Meat grosses me out, but eventually I gave up.
So, my best friend 'all of a sudden' becomes vegetarian. she does'nt give a rip if animals die for her to eat! shes only doing it because I can't. When I was trying to be a vegetarian she said it bothered her that I was, she also said what does it matter that animals died. Now she critizises be when I eat meat. She is the worst person to fight with, and now I just wont eat around her. How do I get aroiund this?

I just asked her out at school today, then after that we walked to her house before we were going to the movies and she was in the bathroom, meanwhile I was in her fridge eating up all the chocolate cake with my hands and all the butter rolls and hot pockets and italian wraps, when she came back she saw all the plates that had been stacked in the sink and the smudges of food stains on my clothes and it had made my stomach expand so much and i looked like a slob and she had a blank expression as I chewed the last 2 rolls.

I've been interested in this guy for a a bit now. I know he's a player and I've been with him a few times (kisses and cuddles, I've only slept with him once).

I decided even though I was attracted to him I didn't want to date a player so I made up my mind that I would go out with him (he's been asking me out) but I didn't tell my friends about this just yet.

Anyway, one of my friends got drunk on Sat night, had a fight with this guy she had a crush on and called me at 1am in the morning (I was asleep in bed as I had to move house the next day). I picked her up, got her some food and water and listen to her for about 2 hours crying about her crush. I eventually had to go to bed and she called this guy I've liked and asked him to sleep with her. She then woke me up and said I quote "I'm sorry Emma. I know you like ??? but he's coming to pick me up so I can f&*k him"

Who does that. What kind of a friend does this?

i just feel sad. like i can't connect with anyone at college. i'm a sophomore at a small catholic school. i don't know if transferring is the answer. i guess i'll try. i just really have not met the people i thought i would in college. those "life long friends" everyone talks about. :(
