In my case, literally, less than 5 mintues. After an argument, regardless of who did the wrong thing first, either of us would call each other and apologize. Why do you think it happens? Do you think we have a strong bond? We have been childhood friends for 13 years, and I just happened to think about it recently. Do you have best friend with such a strong bond?

Hi friend,
You're both lucky dudes because it's rare to have 2 friends as forgiving & as understanding as you both are. Keep it up & don't ever change your ways. How many friendships/marriages/relationships are destroyed simply because nobody wants to make the 1st move & apologize?? Believe me, had someone set aside the pride & made the 1st move to say "i'm sorry", so many relationships could have been saved. That's why "pride" is always called the "grim reaper of relationships". Just remain humble, keep an open mind & set aside the pride. Quarrels will always happen, but if you have these 3 qualities, you'll always pull through.

It is probably because you are both forgiving people and you both just need to get your feelings out in the open then you are able to forgive each other because you know neither person really wants to hurt the other.
And yes, I do have a friend with such a strong bond, I think we both just don't take things the wrong way really, and we need eachother so much we CAN'T not forgive eachother!

I do have a best friend whom i have a strong bond with. However, we do forgive each other after a day. I think it happens because you dont want to lose him/her over immature arguments.

I've been friends with my best friend for 23yrs - during that time we've had a few arguments but never held any grudges. It's forgotten before we speak again so there's no need to, I trust her with my innermost thoughts and emotions & I can talk to her about ANYTHING without being judged. I'm so lucky to have her in my life!!

Most things, we get over it in 5-10 minutes. Bigger things, I think we still haven't forgiven, but have gotten over it and decided not to let it affect our friendship. Not sure if that is healthy or not.

I thought my best friend from highschool was as good as it got cuz after 20+ years we still connected but all it took to ruin it was her having dial-up and me sending her one too many emails.
I have not heard from her for almost a year now. she has blocked my email, won't answer my snail mail and changed her phone #.
Just goes to prove...you just never know so, enjoy today.
I miss my buddette. :-(
