I have two friends, Tom and Susan. They've been best friends for a year and I am a new addition to the group. I met Susan through Tom in August. She's called me her best friend since we met. The guy and I have been friends since April of this year.
In August, Tom and I went out with Susan and her bf and later slept over at her bf's place. Tom and I were attracted to each other and ended up having sex. Susan and her bf kept asking me about whether Tom and I were dating because he'd keep bringing me around. Susan told me that Tom doesn't deserve me and I shouldn't date anyone for a while because I just got out of a 4 year relationship in June.
Tom and I decided to just be friends a month ago. But he'd keep calling me to hang out. For weeks Susan didn't call me. I found out later from Susan that Tom "begged" her not to be friends with me because he and I had sex and it would be awkward.
Susan told me that she liked me and didn't want to share me with her bf or Tom. She's straight.

Sorry this is so long.
Susan wanted me to just be HER friend and reestablished communication with me in the last two weeks though and told me about Tom telling her not to hang out with me. (I don't know if this is true because she told me not to tell him about it.)
This weekend I hung out with Susan at her place and Tom was there. He is best friends with her bf too. A few other people were there as well. Anyway Susan kept me upstairs the majority of the time away from Tom who is now just my friend.
Her friends were there too and asked Susan if Tom is the guy who sleeps with all her friends. Susan said yes and that she and Tom made out before she and her bf dated. (News to me.)
I asked Susan's bf later if Tom just sleeps with everyone and he said no. Tom told me he doesn't sleep around either. I feel like a pawn in a weird game. What's going on? Does the girl like Tom?
