Today after school i got on AIM and i was talking to my friends. One of my friends signed on and said the 2 most popular girls in school were spreading rumors about me. There is this girl, She is in my Class at school and she is coming to stay with me for 5 nights while her parents are away in Sweden (where they are from) She is really pretty but the problem is, I am ashamed to be around her because she is such a looser! my soon to be husband wnat his 3 friends and their feinces to move in with us as well as one of his friends who is going through some leagle thing with her soon to be ex and she has 2 kids and i have 4 kids. is that too many people? should i tell him he cant have all of them in our home? you tell me what you think should i be suppoetive or should i put my foot down about so many people in one home (apartment)?

I am getting married next year, june 2008, a mate of mine annoucned that she is marrying her whirlwind lover in 2009, now all of a sudden she is marrying her fella in september 2008!

When she talks to me, she is staring at my hair, because she is envious of it, I have told her that I have indian in me, hence why hmy hair is long and has a nice texture (being black and having indian in you is a big thing!)

She claimed that she has indian in her but then I spoke to a family member of hers and I found out that she was lying, she has no indian in her at all!

I am black, so is she but I am into rock and grunge music and she thinks that is wrong, telling me that I am a honkey.

What do you think of this

I had a friend who like to use other people and she lies a lot I heard her on the phone. I was thinking if she does that to others she might be that way with me. I tried to avoid her. She never realized it. She invited me to her son's birthday I never go and she told my other friends that I'm cheap because I don't want to spend money on the birthday gift and tell them not to invite me to any special occasions.I still talk to her only when I see her but she still talk with me like I'm her friend but I don't feel that way with her it is my fault to feel that way because I'm usually fair but with her I can't because I don't like her inside.

Some ppl have commented to me that the 'giver' is the one who is guilty of giving to the ones who take advantage of ppl. To me there is a fine line between give and take. And somewhere in between it could lye with 'taking advantage'. I don't believe it's the giver who is the guilty party, but the one who 'takes'. Generosity from ppl is few and far between and some ppl take advantage of that kindness.
The ppl who say that the 'giver' is the guilty one has stated, "they can't take if you don't give". How can we go through life without giving from our hearts? In my opinion, it's not the kindhearted ppl who love to give who are the guilty ones. But those who take and take without gratitude who are guilty. What are your thoughts?

Lately my best friend has been feeling a little on the down side. He is always getting frustrated about things that go wrong. The thing is i have always wanted him to show me his emotions, because i have felt that he used to keep everything to himself, and not be open about it. So now that he is finally opening up, i dont kno what to tell him. I have told him that he needs to relax, and stop worrying about things. I think that the reason why he is acting the way that he is, is because his life isnt going the way that he wanted it to be. How do i help him? How do i tell him that life has its ups and downs, and u may not always get what you want, but that is what life is all about. Life is a struggle. How do i tell him that? Any pointers as to how i can help sooth my friend?

She's 37, left high school her senior year, got married two months later, got pregnant that month, and has been a homemaker/mother for 18 years. Her kids are now 17 and 14. She has never worked and has no job skills and limited knowledge of a computer. She takes care of one infant in her home every day for 5 hours and doesn't make much. My concern is that if her husband were to die before she can collect his Social Security, she will be screwed and dependent on family. It is not a life I could ever live but she is happy being in the home. I don't see it as secure. Being a SAHM/housewife is fine IF you have the ability to earn a living should you need to. My mother was a 1970's housewife and abused and I made my own way in the world and lived on my own from age 17-31 before I got married because I never wanted to "have" to stay with someone because of money.

I want her to see how important it is that she get out and get a GED and skills BEFORE she needs it. How???

Me and my "best friend" used to be great friends we would have crazy fun like no other and then we started highschool and about 5 months in maybe this new girl transfers and now mty friends barely talks to me and when she makes the effert i just turn away and i feel replaced becasue she tells this new girl everything and me nothing i think im jealous and then again she rarely told me anything and she comes out of no where and says she cant trust me but over the summer she said she did trust me then i lied to her about lots of stuff and she found out about it took her forever to forgive me but that was in the past right? back to the new girl... all i wanna know is should this friendship be destoryed and should i confront her i asked my sister about this she said its not worth the time and i could do better? some one help me please please!!!!!!

I HATE MEN. I've been working in an office for over 2 years, and am pretty close friends with some men and women. But mainly men as they're into sports, like me.

I've started to hate them though. They think of me as a friend, but just drop me when someone better comes along. I'm ok to go to the pub with and watch the football with, but other than that they just don't care.

When i'm talking to a guy friend, if a hot girl comes along, they'll just ignore me mid sentence and walk off while i'm speaking to go talk to her. My girl mates NEVER do this, they always finish talking to me before talking to a hot guy.

After a night out, i text my girl friends to check they got home ok, and they always text back, but the guys never text back, and then I find out theyve been texting some hot girl all day.

If i'm walking into town or I need a lift, my girl friends will drive me or offer to walk with me, the guys never do, but will gladly offer to someone who's gorgeous.

WHY????

My friend is way conceited. She knows she is and everything, but what she doesn't understand is how annoying it is! She tells me what a great friend or therapist or whatever she is (she isn't really a therapist) but I know it isn't true! Whenever I go to her with a problem, she says things like "oh if I were there this would have been bad!" and stuff like that that turns it into her problem instead of solving it for me! Not only this, but she also tells me lies--things I know aren't true. I ignore these lies because I don't just want to call her out or anything. What should I do?

Our school finishes next friday and this 1 friend...he's nice to everyone but he's not being sincere to me. He asked a umber of classmates to write in a book of his on what they wish/hope for him because next year he's moving back to Johor,Malaysia.
He never asked/tell me about it! I asked about his phone number but he won't gave me. I took his number somewhere but since he's not being sincere to me, I won't either. He gave me his email address but he doesn't seemed to care any emails I sent him. You know about friendster.com ? We and other classmates have an account. I added him as a friend a few times but he cancelled me! I asked him at school and he said he didn't know I added him. At first, he set his comments to be approve automatically. After I sent a few comments about advices and tell that I care...he deleted all those comments and set his comments to be sent by his friends only. He never does that anyone except me. I never did anything to him. What's wrong with him? !

I developed a friendship with a guy I roomed with over the summer. During this period, I was especially kind to him and I sometimees felt as though he took advantage of my kindness. However I avoided confrontation because I saw these faults in his personality as minor faults. However, I now work with him as a partner in a lab class. During this time, he has displayed a domineering personality and talks down to me at times. We have had verbal confrontation a total of three times our time as lab partners. After our last confrontation, I am hoping that our friendship will cease. Can someone give their opinions about this case and tell me how I can continue to work with him as a lab partner.

I have this problem: I have this friend (Seiji),who was one of my only friends in the beggining of sixth grade, since I wasn't a big social magnet. We've had sleepovers, hang outs, and lots of friendship stuff... Now, In 7th grade. He's calling me a stalker because we ended up in the same class and my locker's right next to mine. If you have seen a woman at work, and just have her email address as her only contact information, and want to be her friend and don't want to seem like a stalker, what would you do? send her an email or add her to your messenger telling who you are or saying you are another person and wait until she gets confidence and then tell her who you are?
