Friends - November 2007

I don't feel like i'm getting any freedom at home and my parents don't trust me to do anything at all. I am only 13 but I do have a job working at Tim Hortans and I go to the local high school. One of my best friends asked her mom if I could move in with them and her mom said yes as long as she can talk to my parents and they say its fine. One problem, I know my parents won't say its fine. How can I move in with them if my parents won't let me?? Help?!?!

I dont know. It's just they all have money to spend on certain things and then at school they go and talk about it. And i'm sitting there with nothing and yes i do feel like they are wasting money on stupid things yet i still feel jealous. My mom is a single mom and i do understand the reasons she cant afford things. But its so hard because i feel so alone and poor. I get irritated when someone says to me why dont you just go buy a new one or when someone doesnt understand why i get so upset if i lose something my family considers expensive. Sometimes i cry over it because i have to work so hard yet my friends dont. I'll say i cant come over on the weekend because i have laundry or chores to do and they will respond "You do your laundry? Why doesnt your mom do it?" I just get so pissed. My mom is working. Who esle is going to do it?

blah. i just.. i dont know.. sometimes it comes to a point where i cant take it. And its not like i can make new friends. Everyone is like that.

Do you think that if you were dating someone 5 years and you broke up with them and you claimed that you really loved the other person you were with very much.....do you think that it's really truly possible to;

Meet someone on a cell phone through the internet on a text messaging service....text them for two month.....meet them only 3 weeks ago from today in person and say that you have moved on, over it, and happy with this new girl. Plus say that you love them already and are going to marry her soon and move her in with you? This meaning that you could get over your ex you supposedly loved even though you say you don't now in just knowing someone personally for 3 weeks????

Also she has been really nasty lately to me when she texts or talk and at first she wanted to be friends and I kept asking her questions for closure and she rubs it in my face about her new gf (sending me pics of them kissing and her new ring) Do u think she is tryin to hurt me because she is hurting inside?

I went to church this morning and saw 5 of my friends there, later ate lunch with everyone and saw several more of my friends as I left the dining center. It's just been a bright sunny day so far, I got an extra hour of sleep last night, and I feel great!

Well, my best friend (Tina) is dating a boy, which i have no problem with at all. But it seems everything we do revolves around him. All the conversations end up about him. Im sick to death of it. My other best friend who is also best friends with Tina has stopped talking to her completely cause Tina talks about her boyfriend so much. It annoys both of us.

On halloween we ended up standing outside his house for 20 mins watching him in the window. I was bored and that was the final straw.

So just now on MSN i said "I'd rather not see you while your dating this guy." and shes meant to be my best friend and she just said "o ok." My other best friend told her to choose her or to stick with her boyfriend. And she chose her boyfriend..

I dunno if I did the right thing, but I just need some advice to point me into the right direction cause i just dunno at the mo. Im feeling slightly used :S But shes still my best friend and i'll miss her alot not hangin out with her for a while..

I have recently fallen out with my friend. Before we fell out I lent her some money, it wasn't very much but to me, £10 is quite abit. About 2 weeks pocket money. Anyway, things between us have gotten very messy an I approached her reminding her about the loan. She told me I wouldn't get it back an it's really upset me as my Grandma gave it me for doing well at school and I don't see why I should let it go to someone is so nasty.
I lent it her on the condition that she would pay it back the following month. Its now been 3 months.
How can I get it back without making things worse than they already are. Help!

Well i know it sounds silly but i really dont have many friends , ive lost contact with everyone from school and everyone where i work is like 40 years older then me, Ive joined the gym , swimming, i cant go out clubbing as i look stupid on my own , i dont drink alcohol btw,Ive looked at local clubs to join but nothing takes my fancy , ive started a college course but everyone there is really different from me and lives over 10 miles away , and i dont drive , ive joined a few internet sites like myspace and facebook , but most people are perverts and strange lol! does anyone have any ideas that i havtn done ?

Well I am sure at least ONE of you guys has read the story I wrote of that guy i was crushing on and was looking for signals. Well I went to the casino yesterday and since some woman won 2000$ right next to me..that kind of broke the 'ice' between me and him. Since he was watching how much she won. We conversated about alot. Like 20 min later i saw him sitting down ..i looked back and he was one the phone..then looked again and him and some female employees talking to him were looking at me too. 2min later he comes up to me and said "i know you probably get this from alot of guys..but..i dont do this often *pulls out his card* this is my email and you can write me if you would ever want to go out sometime." And I was in SHOCK. i've never been given a number before! Now what do I do? And its like he said "I don't do this often" LOL what is that supposed to mean? That he really doesn't? or he flails his card every once in a while to women..(btw he is the casino host *why he has a card*)

Well I have this friend and Id really like to be better friends with her. But, she has this bestfriend who she calls her sister and they barely let eachother out of thier sight.... i wanna be friends with this girl but the other one keeps getting in the way.
Well its really hard. Its such a big group of people who revolve around these two. And, I always get shunted aside or not included. Also, I do talk to her online. Shes a totally different person in school than online or by herself. We're in eighth grade. (isnt everyone twofaced at this age?)

i dont know weather its me being werid but my friends are like ignoring me most of the time and if i go to talk to someone eles who isnt in are group they always get in a mood with me and ignor me even more when i was just being friendly to the other person whos not in our group also they go out at the weekend and talk about it when im there but they dont invite me and when i ask they say yes and than come in the next day an go oh were not going anymore bt than i find pictures of them on myspace goin out were they were planning to go but told me it was off ive lost total confidence in myself since i started secondry school as i never knew anyone eles how as goin there im now in yr 11 and leaving soon but i want to be how i was in jr school as i would say what i felt and would stand up for myself now ive forgot how to be like that and im scared to standup for myself??

Okay this girl @ my school acted like my friend, then bad mouthed me to my best friend and told her not to hang out with me anymore. Our husband are deployed my 1st but her 3rd. i learned a lot from here but every15 min. she calls are im's me i cant even chat with my husband with her im n me she knows when he's online .I ignored her then my cell,house phone ,if i dont answer im evry15 min. i have told her I cant talk to her & hubby same time are im cleaning ,sleeping,I will call her back it's her again with what your doing I told her i'm going to read a book had to turn off both phones she started im me!help dont know how to not hurt her feeling but making wana punch a wall!

I met her 15 months ago when we joined in the same organisation. Slowly and gradually we became frnds. With time, we felt attracted towards each other. Those feelings of 2 of us being together strarted 2 grow strong untill we had that silly fight 4 no reason. That fight when we stopped talking 2 each other....and it continued for months.....every time when 1 approached another, we tried to ignore each other, though we felt more strong for each other with every moment passing by. Then she ran through a rough patch which i later come to know from her mother. In the middle of all these things i proposed her, 2 which she didn't rejected neither approved of. Again we ran through a silent fight for months. We cared for each other but didn't speak 2 each other. She wished me on my birthday, gave me a gift at her home, but didn't speak anything. I asked her several times, whats wrong but she refused 2 open up. Now her silence is killing me. Tomorrow is her last day in the office. Help me plz..
