Do you hate it when your trying to call someone on the phone and you call the wrong number. Then you say "Sorry I called the wrong number" then they ask you who are you trying to call.
Its like why do you wanna know.

OMG i totally hate that! I am like ok y do u need 2 noe who u r calling(i would never say that but i am thinking that)..i mean its not of their buisness!

I guess sometimes people do get a bit nosy and want to know more about why you're calling the wrong number. or maybe they might try to be of assistance to you? maybe they might know the person whom you're trying to find. there's a lot of possibilities, but don't take them to heart:) i got cursed with the F word when i accidentally messaged someone wrongly, because my friend changed her handphone number and i didn't know and i sent the message to her old handphone number which is being used by another person now.

They probably say that because it isn't their house. They are checking to see if maybe you were trying to call the person who OWNS the phone, rather than the person who ANSWERED the phone.

I also hate when you already know that you dialed the wrong number and they ask who you are calling, and then want to know the number you are trying to dial.

ive never been asked that....
they usually hangup the phone before i can say sorry...
But there just being nosey is all don't feel obligated to tell them its none of there business

yes, and it is also very annoying when someone accidentally calls you and they are like, oh, I'm sorry, i wont call again, blah blah blah and they just want to apologize for an hour

I think the person thought that you are calling him/her, your voice quite similar to his/her friend, so he/she wanted to comfirm with you whether you are his/her friend or not. Maybe you didn't say out the (person name) that you wanted to speak to and so the person wanted to know.

i do that all the time!!!
and then when i say sorry, they usually just yell at me and then hang up, or they repeatedly ask who i am and why i'm calling.
its so annoying!
