To be honest, she is PERFECT weight. A good true friend can tell another what is what or else they are not a friend. Yes, be nice about it. Her height is a tall one and she should feel lucky to weigh what she does.
You could compliment her on how nice she looks all the time. It' sounds like she is self-conscious about herself

honey, i would say you are not fat. She sounds like a very tall girl, and that is where her weight will come into play. When i was this age i thought i was fat too. Every friend (just about) will ask you "Do you think i am fat". Even if they themselves already know the anwser. If you dont want to anwser this question just tell her "girl you look good".
Weight truley depends on the height of a person and where they carry there wieght.
Take care...

@ 5-7, 128 is a good weight. But because of her age she might not have the tone to make her confident about her appearance. It is likely she has a little tummy bulge like most younger girls and if this is what is bothering her, she needs to know it will go away as she gets older....one thing that might help is exercise...not to lose weight but to tone up.

That is a normal body fat count for most women at normal weights. If she thinks she is fat you should tell her you think she is fine. You can't go wrong with that responce . You tell her yes she's going to try to lose a lot of weight instead of the little bit she might lose.

Just about right for her height. She has to remember that she is 14 and some of what people call baby fat will come off as she matures, and grows. I hope she doesn't do some crazy diet junk, because she will only make herself gain weight.

If you see someone all of the time and you love that person, the person's size does not matter.
The only way you could tell was if you didn't see the person for a long time.
I do not know what body-frame she is or how big or small her bones are.
Tell her to see her doctor, and let her doctor determine if she needs to work on something or if she is fine. Just love her. That is your job as a friend.
Good luck and may God bless you.

Well according to various obesity stats, she is a little overweight for her height...but she's not dangerously overweight. You might say to her that shes not fat, but that if she is concerned about her weight, then perhaps you both could get involved in some sort of weight managment program...exercise etc. Lots of times, if peers share experiences together for common goals, then success is all the much more higher. It will make her feel better about herself in the longrun.

She is not fat at all.
23% body fat is ideal for a female and 128lb is a very low weight for 5ft7. For her age, up to 28% body fat is acceptable.

She sounds okay to me, but tell her that her body fat seems a bit high. She might needs to tone a bit. Because I'm that same height at 19 with body fat of about 19%, I think. I toned up by doing Pilates, that stuff works, lol

She's probably a tad underweight actually.
If she's worried about any specific areas, at your age it's most likely due to hormone inbalances (e.g. caoncentration of fat around your butt and thighs is probably due to a hell of a lot of oestrogen running round your body). Tell your friend she's gorgeous!
