My friends are becoming are either pushing me away or becoming too much work...should I confront them or just settle with loosing them forever?

basically i give them all my time and all my love

and they could basically careless about me

At some point, you need to evaluate each relationship and ask, "What does this person bring to the table?" Is this person a mooch? A user? A manipulator? A drama-queen? A time-waster? Or is this person your cheering section? Provide insight? Make you laugh?
As you go down the list of traits and how each thing makes you feel, you will know who you should be spending more time with.
You don't have to give the scrubs the heave-ho... you just don't have to spend as much time with them.

Heck, if you are really asking yourself if you want to not be there friends, you already know what you want to do. BTW... it doesn't seem that you are being a good friend either if you want to "ditch them".
