People who are happy, secure and content with their lives aren't mean about others. It's entirely possible that they're jealous or it could be nothing to do with you - they could just be feeling insecure or unhappy about something completely unrelated to you, but for whatever reason you're the easiest target at that point. Focus on the things and people that make you happy - ignore them as far as you can. And as for being tall - that will be an advantage when you're older, trust me - why do you think so many women wear heels and short men wear stacks (well the famous ones, anyway)?!!!
You'll get through it. This time doesn't last forever, I promise.

You can never stop them. You have to realize that people say or do mean things because they are jealous or they really hate themselves and when they see somebody who's got it going on, they take their own frustrations with themselves out on you. The best thing you can do is learn to ignore those kinds of people. It never ever stops hurting completely, the meanness, but the better you get at ignoring it, the less it hurts and the faster you get over it. Keep telling yourself you're not any of those things people say about you, and stop worrying about what other people may think. You can never make everybody like you. And the people who really care about you will know the truth about you and those are the kind of people you should make your friends. F--- the rest. Look at it this way. If the kind of people who talk trash about people are talking trash about you, that means you're doing something right. Chin up!!!

You cannot stop rumors. In fact, the more you do to stop their spreading the worse it gets.
Besides, have you heard the rumors yourself? I don't like hearsay.
And don't you dare slouch. Be proud that you are tall. I wish I was.

You should be concerned about why your friend would say such a thing.. especially if she isn't telling the truth...
Don't automatically believe what your "friends" say, sometimes they are the ones spreading rumors...

They are probably saying stupid things about you because they are immature as well as jealous. The best way to win this--don't let them see you upset. Walk with your head held high, confident! When they see that you are not bother by their antics, they will stop...because it isn't fun.
