look at where it comes from....
are there certain people in your life that cause it? do you do things that you THINK won't cause drama, but they really do??

i have a girlfriend who always complains of having drama in her life, however, i just chuckle b/c she brings most of it on herself. she is very hot tempered and fickle with friends. she gossips and someone can be her best friend one day and she hates them the next, whether she really means it or not.
now, she has mellowed out quite a bit over the years, however, i just listen to her. i don't feed into anything she says. i don't elaborate on her comments, either. i just listen and say "oh really? " "oh wow, that's wild"
things like that.
that keeps her drama from entering my life.

so, if it's your friends...make new ones...or just don't allow yourself to get sucked in. learn to keep your distance and not get involved.
and if it's YOU causing it....then learn new behaviors.

for example, i had to stop some fo my gossiping practices. once i did that, then much of my drama stopped! it was great.
now, if i gossip...it's to my husband or one or two friends that i KNOW it won't go any further.

take care.

YEA daing i know how you feel!it's exactly the same with me..what I try to do is,think about everything i say before i say it(yeah it's not easy)and think of what you're doing also.if somebody provoces an argument, just keep calm and count down from 10 to 0,that sounds stupid i know but it honestly works!good luck =)

Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Change begins with you. Try reading the book - "Do One Thing Different" by William O'Hanlon

You're the one creating it - stop! sooner or later you will start to lose friends that are getting sick of the drama and maybe that will open your eyes.

well, count to 20 in your mind before you comment on anything.. normally this will give you time to decide what to do.

20 seconds will give you ample time to consider whether you want to stick around, or just go in another direction.

it's not a crime to walk away from drama.
