No, you're normal.
But don't do anything you aren't positive you want to do.

It's perfectly normal to think about having sex with someone that you're attracted to, but it doesn't always mean the thought should be acted on.
Some of the best relationships are relationships that start out as friends. My husband and I are a perfect example. We were just friends for about 6 months before we started dating. We've now been married for 20 years. I think one of the greatest benefits of being friends first, is that you truly get to know each other. Too many people have sex and then try to develop a relationship from there.

You know, I have dated several of my great friends. Although I don't talk to some of them any more, I am so glad I dated them anyways.
People always tell you "don't date your pals" (of the opposite sex, I assume) but let me tell ya, it's one of the greatest things you can do in life. Think of how much fun things will be because you started as friends, what a great foundation.
Also, there a lot of friends you ended up not seeing anymore anyways and there was nothing memorable you have with them!
So go date your pals. Have sex with them. Even though you may eventually break up, and whether you ever talk to them or not again, you will have nice memories of how fun things were when you get older.
Good luck! STOP BEING SO SERIOUS AND HAVE FUN!

To me....you are not an idiot because there are a bunch of people that think of that. But be careful.....don't go getting your feelings hurt or anything else. Keep a good head on your shoulders, Know what I mean?

I think its but normal to think about it since you seem to really like him a lot. The bad part is if you are already dwelling (or obsessing) on it too much its already affecting everything else in your life most specially your friendship with him or the way you treat him.
God gave us sexuality for us to enjoy it but not to abuse it. We are sexual human beings, we are designed that way BUT abusing it or letting it take control of us or doing it out of the context of love and mariage...well, that's called "lusting" and that's the bad part. God would want you to take care of your body, to respect it and show people through your action that you should be respected as well. Don't you want it that way too?
So, should you continue to think about it? I would suggest not, but instead pray for the guy and pray for yourself too that you might avoid such temptation.
Are you an idiot for doing it? NO. Your just being human.
Take care.

Think about it all you want but you probably should not do it. Partly because you will probably be disappointed and after it will not seem like it was such a good idea. Be patient you will know when the time is right. Meanwhile think away.

No it's absolutely normal just don't act on your impulses or fantasy's until your both emotionally ready and mature ready to carry with you the responsibilites of having or engaging in sexual activity. Personal I'm comited to absitnace but that's just me cause at sixteen I know i'm not ready, but whatever you do with your body is your parogative just be safe. God Bless ;)
