ok i had a substitute in one of my classes today and she told us in bethany oklahoma it was illegal 2 eat a hamburger whistle and walk backwards at the same time! did u kno that? i didnt! it is so weird and kind of stupid! tell me wat u think of it!

My relationship w/ my mom has always been hard. I am 22 now, the 2nd oldest of 8 kids. The only sibling older than my is my brother, and being the 2 oldest we had lots of responsibilities, and took lots of the s*it from my mom and dad, who never got along and abused all of us. My mom claims we 2 are the most f*cked up and the worst of anyone she knows. She kicked my oldest brother out 4 years ago, and threatened to kick me out, saying I was a problem and I undermined her authority. I think she was just mad I did not let her crap and cruelty bother me. I did well in school, had lots of friends and also had boyfriends, a job and a car, all that I achieved on my own, after her telling me I was worthless, stupid, not to mention fat and ugly. I met my current fiance when I was 21, about 2 years ago. She had hated men since divorcing my dad when I was 17 and did not want me dating and she did not date either. I constantly have the feeling that others are looking down at me. They feel that their life is better because they have stable, steady jobs and intact families.

I guess I have to look at the positive points in my own life. I don't know what is the way to deal with this feeling when it overtakes me.

I feel that I am a complete and total failure and did not live up to my responsibilities as a wife and mother.

Ok so I want to move to CA. Sort of. I have family there and compared to DC it just seems like there's more opportunities (work, education, health care, etc). Even with my recent leap of faith, (leaving the corporate world to persue my own business), that seems to be working out pretty good so far, but I still don't want to stay.

My problem is I want to take my family with me. My dad may have cancer and I'd like to attempt to nurse him back to health with some herbal remedies I've been researching. Health care such as medicaid in DC sucks so my attempt seems to be the only effort to help him. Luckily he's on board but...

My mom (who has Multiple Sclerosis), I'm not so sure she would go for alot of reasons I can understand... I know it sounds selfish but I want her to be near me since I would hate to be 3,000 miles away if something were to happend to her.

I just feel all around guilty for wanting to go to CA but I don't think I could stomach staying in DC.

I need some advice...

well i went to my first parenting class on the 17th of this month. my ex boyfriend's parents are planning on taking my daughter, renee, to live with my ex's moms' other relatives and there is no judgement and there hasent been one. his mom cant really do that without the other relatives going to court. my next class is in the morning at 9:30 and my ex's parents will be there. my question is, can his mom take my daughter to live with other relatives without and judgement made? my daughter is 3 years old and she knows who her mother is. any ideas would really help or answers. thanks!!!

ok my mom wants to move to a town that is like an hour away from the one that we live in now and i have never moved and i have alot of friends here and everything but she rly wants to move for good reasons but she wont move unless i give her the ok and i dont want to move but i dont want to make her unahppy...then today she was all like will u go to this private skool which i hate for many reasons and now i am stuck..i rly want don't care if we move but i am scared and everything but do you think i should move

Im 38 yrs old and my mother still wont let go. She trys to tell me what to do and how to live my life.....and critisses me. Ive always been the black sheep and given up trying to please her. To make a long story short, My mother took a little girl in and kept her for 3 months(with no contact from the father, The mother lost rights to child at birth) He then up and came and took the child away. Now he wants mother to care for the child again and refuses to sign any type of custody papers on the child. He said that the child could live with her and that he never would take her away again. I do not trust him so if he leaves her with mother again with no contact is there any way she can file abandonment charges and get custody that way? Or should she just refuse to take the child in again? The thing is she loves her and wants to adopt her and the father is a drug addict and what i would call a DRUNK. That is all that he cares about. It has only been 3 weeks since he took her from mother and the child has already lost 8 pounds. Please give me some advice to give her, she is afraid not to take the baby scared of what will become of her.But scared of being hurt again.

so my parents want me to go to medical school....not quite open with their options. so i just want to take a break from school and get my medical tech license, but they won't let me do that either. they are driving me crazy and they always screw with my emotions by putting me through guilt trips. i always have to do wht they think is best eventhough i know it is not always best for me. i try to stand up to them, but i feel bad because they are my parents and they invested so much into me.

my mom moved in with me . she and her boyfriend are living in one of my extra spare bedrooms and well, my mother in very unmotovated and she tells me that she doesnt care about anything anymore she watches tv all day long. she is weird and she makes me feel yuckie. she is going from job to job. 3 jobs is 2 weeks. she had this squacking bird that drives me nuts. i feel like she is a wacko and a weirdo i dont want her to live with me anymore but i feel like a bad daughter for this. she gives me panic attacks and he self esteem is zero, i tell her to read she says she cant i tell her to . she is very depressed with low self esteem and she is bringing me down she said she cant take antidepressents because it will kill her. she is really low and taking me with her... what should i do

ok I met a great guy about 6 months ago. He was an ex drug user. I have never done drugs so I don't know sign of drug use. I love him more than anything in this world but, I can't get over the fact that he may be using again. When I first met him he didn't drink and now he is drinking everyday. My friend and her boyfriend are moving to San Antonio in less than a week. She has offered many college links to colleges in San Antonio, and I've found a college that looks good to me. They already have a 2 bedroom apartment, but they have no room for me to stay, which is fine..I just have to find an affordable place to stay. I'm looking to work in a restaurant(I'm currently a waitress at Colton's and I make good money) since she told me that it's a big restaurant town.
However, my parents will not let me take my car(which is in their name) out of state for fear of it being stolen, etc..Their main concern is paying it off before I go anywhere with it.
Can anyone help me figure this out??

Ok, here's the break down. Currently I am living w/ my boyfriend at his parents' house. We always help w/ groceries and offer to help w/ rent because his parents are constantly struggling for money. It bugs me because they spend money on things like beer and other things that they don't really need, and then they bicker about being broke. We help whenever they need it. However, around this time last year they threatened to kick us out many times for no reason at all. We got sick of it and moved out. We ended up moving back in a few months later due to a crisis at our apartment. Everything seemed fine until this past weekend when my boyfriend's sister told us that his parents have been saying the same old things. Yesterday, his parents apologized to both of us and said that they just said those things cuz they were drunk and they are having a hard time right now, and they just wanted to make somebody else's life miserable. But why us?! We have done nothing but try to help!

She has literally found the biggest skanks she can attract in a little town population 2500. She was just dumped by a 26 yr old man who now is in jail for providing alcohol to minors.
She has been disappearing all nite for the last 3 days and when I got up this morning, she had a 4 yr old named Lindsey in my living room. She is babysitting for another skank boyfriend who has a child. He was just in the local news for beating up this childs mother. He was charged with aggrivated battery, and my daughter tells me this little girls mother dont want her and he is raising her alone. What a crock!!!
Its not that my daughter is ugly,fat, slow or poor.
She is a beautiful girl with long blonde hair, very petite and could do soooo much better. I feel like I just need her to get out and stay away from me because I cannot handle watching this. It upsets me.
What is with her? Why does she keep picking up the trashiest men in the area?

I quit talking to my grandma bc of things she did/said after my dad died.
My best friend quit talking to me in december due to a new boyfriend.
I quit talking to my brother because of his physical threats for not giving him $.
I just told my mom that I will no longer give her gas, cigs or a ride anywhere for not reimbursing me for my car that she wrecked.
My roommate/new best friend is moving 4 hours away.
I may be moving away without my boyfriend due to his laziness and lack of concern for anything or anyone.

How is it possible to lose so many people? Do people normally cut people out of their life to make things easier?

she asked me down to help her on a computer game she downloaded. its a puzzle game and as she knows i play video games, i could help. even tho i was fed up with her asking me to help her on games i have never played i tried to helps anyways. after i helped, she said " is that the best you can do? in a kinda sarcastic disappointed tone.

Now it makes me break and shout when she always asks me to help on her games. Sure i play video games, but their xbox 360 games and First Person Shooters like Rainbow six vegas and halo. so i kinda shouted at her, spoke my mind and then she really shouts at me calls me a cow and then tries to put guilt on me saying i do alot for you.

She had a tone, she shouted i Tried to help but she just expects that i can help her or i know what do it just cause i play games. WTF.

He says it's because he's lazy and he seems satisfied with that answer. I know he could do better and he even admits he could do better, but he seems perfectly okay with D's and F's. We have given him consequenses, like no phone privilages for the weekend, etc. but he just looks us in the eye and says, "Okay". I don't know how to explain to him that life in our house is much easier than life in the real world and the consequences for not making any effort get much much worse
