Family - March 2007

I'm a freshman in high school. I work my *** off in high school all week days. During lunch, I freaking go to the library just to study. When I go home, I turn on the computer and do homework. Sometimes I stray off a little and finish the homework at 10-12 o'clock p.m due to being tired or bad circumstances. During weekends, I have to go to tutoring on Saturday and I have homework to do on Sunday. After finishing homework, I just go on the computer for 3-4 hours. My mom is a so gay and with her damn ignorant friends supporting the idea, is gonna have my technician dad dismantle my comp tommorrow. What am I supposed to do?

okay ...i had ask my parents if it was okay if i went 2 ma friends house n go 2 da pool on the day wen we get out early. at first my fatehr was lyk okay why not if u wanna hang out wit yo friends go ahead...n he made me beleive that it was okay den all of a sudden he wanted to just come out n say no u cnt go becuse wen he asked me who will be ther 2 supervise n i toldhim if my friends mom has to go to work den her sister who is a senior then he starts getting mad talking about how he is not letting me hang out by the pool with my friends if only her sister is going to supervise because then she will invite her friends and i will be surrounded by a bunch of 17 ,18 yr old boys...i dnt thynk datsz fair because her sister wouldn't even do that 1stly because i know her vey well and i know how she is n she is not trying to et in trouble by ny meansz if her parentsz found out that she invited boys to her little sister "pool occasion with her friends" sje would get in trouble. ..

Im not a guy thats very sentimental and i have hardly ever cried, not even when i get hit in the nuts, lol. but i kind of felt like crying when a person at work told me his father died. I didnt know this person well and never met his father. but it was what he said that made me kind of sad. he said that he and his dad werent that close but now that hes gone he wishes he could just go fishing and drink a couple of beers with him. this kind of made me sad because thats the kind of relationship me and my dad have.

my dad has been tracking all the conversations that i've had on AIM for the past 6 months and i just found out today. he's putting in a new program where it tracks everything that i do and locks me off the computer after an hour each day. he's taking away my phone and i can't see any of my friends after school or on weekends. i think i'm gonna go crazy. idk if i should just run away or wat? but i can't live like this any longer.

We would like them to come into our home so we are looking for an agency that does background checks and extensive interviewing. About how much they charge and if we are able to hire someone that private insurance will pay for.

I recently lost a baby...and had some ultra sound picutes that are new that i had just went to go get at the hosptial...the other picutures i have of her are still born and i thought i would show my parents the ultra sound pictures because they really showed my daughters face. and my father said i am eating....no i dont feel like looking at them now.
he was only eating a few chips. they were just ultra sound pictures. and he said i know your sad about the loss of the baby but life goes on you have three children and you can have more. i told him this is the only thing i have left of my daughter and you couldnt just glance at the computer and left. my oldest daughter had spent the nite with my parents and i had went to pick her up.
i love my parents and i sound like a kid crying about it but it just seems like my family doesnt understand her death has really hurt me. their attitude is i am young i can have more. should i stop talking about the baby? or they wrong

My father molested my sister four years ago. She just told me last night.
We've always been tight. She's my best friend, and I swear I want to kill him!

These last few months have been screwed up for us. She's been acting like she's in love with me! It's been freaking me out! She even told me point blank that she wants to be with me. That I'm the only guy for her. How did this happen?!

II am so confused and so f*cking scared right now. Our mom is nowhere to be found. She ran out on us years ago. I don't know what to do. What I want to do is get her help and get us both out of this house, but I don't know how! I don't know where to begin! Please help!

she fell without a sound
she hit the ground.
her blood started pouring
no one knew till morning
that my momma was murdered
cause thats not what they heard.
two girls now have no momma
they are hurt by this trauma.
alone and scared,
this is how they faired
with the night that would divide
them, now with no where to hide
the little one was adopted to
people that she already knew.
her mommas brother and his wife
were gonna get her a new life.
now shes older
and he grows colder
with each breath she takes.
he is dieing for her sake(s)
he loved her with all his heart
now again she has to start
a life away from someone
she loves. why is this done
to her? she didnt ask for this.
then he sits up and gives her a kiss.
her life isnt as bad anymore
their together behind the door.

i really really wanted to tryout for cheerleading and im sure i had a really good shot at making the squad. But being a cheerleader at my school doesnt come cheap. You have to pay about $1000 for the whole uniform and cheer camp, its about $200-300 each month until june or something. And because of that, my parents wont let me tryout. I want to cheer more than anything right now but my parents dont think its worth the money. My friend's parents let her tryout so i dont see the problem with my parents. I've been giving my parents the cold shoulder all day today and if my friend makes the squad, i swear im never speaking to them. They know im pissed off at them and then my mom was all yelling at me eearlier saying "you cant always get what you want". I hate her. Im sure any mom would be lucky to have their daughter as a cheerleader, plus, it looks really good for college. What do i do?? Tryouts are tomorrow!!

My father thinks that the only jobs I should do around the house is house chores and leave my little brother all the "man" work. I am just as capable as my brother is, but the problem is that he thinks I'm weak and dumb when it comes to appliations just because I'm a girl. What should I do?

She is 11. Her sister is 14. Her sister hasn’t talked to her for 6 mnths because her parents don’t allow her date, go to the movies or friends house, & are very strict. Her sister told her to tell their parents to give her the freedom & not worry about her because when she was 11, she wasn’t allowed to do many things the 11 yr old can now because the second child always has more freedom than the first. She refuse to tell her parents to give her the freedom. Her elder sister feel it is unfair because she has freedom because of her elder sister & her elder sister can’t get freedom because of her. Her elder sister say she use her for freedom & is selfish & will not talk her until she do what her elder sister says. The parents know her elder sister hasn’t talked to her, but don’t know why. They questioned them but both kids refuse to tell parents the problem. Why are kids this way? Don't they want their parents to help them? If her sister don't tell, why don't she tell?

and I had the perfect mother-in-law...I'd never met her. I know he was married before and he had two children w/her. There again, I never met them either. And before anyone says anything wrong, he never hid from them, he just couldn't find them. I don't know the lady's last name, but could someone help me find a way to locate his children to let them know that he passed away 3 years ago yesterday ??? Can someone help me with this?

Before my Great-Grandmother passed away last July, my family would get together every Holiday and once a year we would also have a family reunion. Well since she passed away we have not met for any of these holiday’s and I think we are not even having our family reunion. I don’t get to see all of my family at one time except for those holiday’s b/c there r prolly around 90 people in my family so you don’t see us n one place at once. I miss the times we got to gather. Do you think they r just trying to forget about my Great-Grandmother? Or was she the one holding the family together? Do you think we should still have the same traditions? Or is it good that we changed them?

oK. Yesterday I spent sum time with my uncle. He's young and fun, But i dont see him alot. He left his number and showed me where his house was, and told me I could visit anytime. I really love being with my uncle when I can. But how do you call up an uncle and tell him you wanna spend time with him?

When I told my mom I was pregnant she told me to have an abortion. One I do not believe in abortions, two I'm married, have a house, steady income and three we want our child. She did not speak to me for 3 weeks. What she said hurt my feelings but I let it go and forgave her. Last night she called me and was angry I had talked to my father. She said it was like a slap in her face, ( they are divorced) that Im disrespectful and she wishes I was never born. Not only that she proceeded to say I will be a horriable mother and should reconcider abortion. I of course will never abort my baby, I already love him but her comments hurt my feelings. My mother has always been a person who says horriable things and never thinks shes in the wrong. I just do not know how much longer I can take her hurtful comments. They really make me depressed. Should I yet again forgive her comments or say enough is enough? Im so confused. Thanks for any advice.

My little brother stole my boyfriends car and when i returned back from out of town the car was missing and I had no idea where it was. So I reported it stolen. We find out the car was impounded saturday night. so I finally get the car back and a week later after everything my brother said he is the one that took the car. Now my brother keeps acting the same exact way as he did before as if he could careless what everyone had to go through behind what he did...he did tell admit to my boyfirend he was the one that took,,,,but to me it came off in a disrespectful way...my dad says it wasn't that disrespectful it was more fear on my brother's part. Now I am tired if my brother acting like he could careless and I want to prosocute...but my mom says that that would not be right since he is my brother and she feels like I would be betraying him.... Do you feel like if i did press charges on him it would be betryaing him anyway...my mom feels like family should stick with you all the time..

i have two other sisters,

we are all in our late 20's. i live in fl my mother and my sisters live in ny. i am the only one who gives my mother money and take care of her and pay her health insurace. if it wasnt for me she would have been dead with her cancer. i call her every day but i am not in ny i am in fl but i take care of her and call everyday. she tells me she is closer to my sisters than me do you think that she has the right to be closer to them than me or do you think that its normal to be or do you think its doesnt matter she should be close to all of us the same

sometimes my family pisses me off and i cant find peace therefore i wish i could go to a library or something everyday afterschool but then i wouldn't be able to stop feeling guilty about what's going on at home or the fact that my mom might need me for dinner help or something, i'm confused, are my needs/emotions and decisions more important or my families? how can i be comfortable and understood? is this showing them that i'm selfish? i just want some peace and quiet, i dont know what to do any more!
