my dad doesent call me sometimes i feel like if i dont got a father i dont know if i should call him or keep waiting till he calls me what should i do?.

Hunny, call him if you want to talk to him. If he is a good father he knows how much you love him and he thinks about you whether you call him or not. He may just be busy with other grown up things.
Because he doesnt pick up the phone as often as you'd like doesn't mean you don't have a father. I haven't seen mine for almost three years now. I called him for about three years prior to that and he Never, I mean NEVER called me....once a month would have made a world of a difference. SO be happy that calls you as much as he does. Cherish every moment.

This is from a father who has the same issues but on the other side. I sometimes go for days without calling, the reason, attitude from her think i do not call but her mom never telling her i did, is just one of the reasons that it goes like that. I have bought her a prepaid cell phone just to call her, but her mom takes it away. When in a divorce situation, it usually isn't about the father/child situation, it is when one parent makes it so unpleasant to keep in touch that the other waits till the kids calls. My advice, start calling him all the time, i am sure he will appreciate it.

Absolutely. I feel so honored when my daughter calls me for no reason. There was a saying " A rich man is one who's children rush into his arms when they are empty" call him
Sometimes he may feel that he is intruding. Just don't call him during his favorite show. A good Idea may be to ask him when you should call. Don't ever let a week go by, or you'll get spanked. Call him!!!!!!!!

just call him, it wont hurt at the end of the confersation tell him the next call is his turn to call, tell him you two can take turns, parents are a important part in a childs life and life is short so make your relationship a good one and should he.

You only have one father and when he's gone you would be sorry that you didn't call him more,You would always wonder if all things were said! You will miss him terribly.
