I'm a freshman in high school. I work my *** off in high school all week days. During lunch, I freaking go to the library just to study. When I go home, I turn on the computer and do homework. Sometimes I stray off a little and finish the homework at 10-12 o'clock p.m due to being tired or bad circumstances. During weekends, I have to go to tutoring on Saturday and I have homework to do on Sunday. After finishing homework, I just go on the computer for 3-4 hours. My mom is a so gay and with her damn ignorant friends supporting the idea, is gonna have my technician dad dismantle my comp tommorrow. What am I supposed to do?

your mom isn't gay or ignorant for wanting you to get off your *** and go do something other than sitting on it.
you're a horrible person for even writing that you wish your mom would die, especially for such a ridiculous thing as this. She could've had an abortion and not had to deal with such a rotten brat such as yourself. take her advice and get a life, you need one.

First of all sweetie, trust me the last thing as a teenager you would want your mom to do is die. My mom did when I was a senior in high school and she stayed on my case about grades, attendance and boys. When she passed I thought I would have it a little easier, except things only got harder. I dropped out and although she was gone I still felt bad about dissapointing and worked my *** off to graduate with my class and I DID. If your mom tells you to rub her feet, her back ,get some water, or do homewrok till your head spins, you'd better. Because like my mom always said " when momma is gone, aint nobody else like her". I wish I could show her how much homework I have in college now just for her to fuss at me to do it, but I can't b/c she's gone. Mothers fuss for no reason, but everything is for a good reason. Do what she asks now and maybe you'll get an even bigger reward later and besides she doesn't have to have a reason to do anything, she had you you didn't have her. She brought you in this world and she'll take you out.

Ask her why she is taking your computer away since it is actually a study tool. She may be afraid that you are on the Internet getting in trouble. If so, tell her that you need the computer and you don't have a problem with the computer being in a public place like a hallway where she can pass by and see what you are doing.
It sounds like your grades must be good. Tell her that one reason your grades are so good is because you use the computer. When I didn't have a computer, I had to go to the library and use their computers and time was limited.
Don't wish your mom would die. Just wish she would understand what stress you out. Tell her that you are overloaded with work from school and ask for her help, but ask her to please let you keep the computer.

All TeenAgers at one time or another get angry at your Parents and say things that you do not mean. Studying and making good grades is important but if your Mom thinks you are staying inside and on the Computer too much of course she is gonna say something about it. It is not healthy to stay on the Computer "too much". I think you need to talk to your Mom and Dad and try to change some of your habits about staying on it so much. Hopefully this will help them change their mind..

Gay? What does that have to do with anything? What does her wife think?
You know. It is her rules, her house and probably pays for the computer and internet, right? Yup. Her rules.
Negotiate with her. Ask her if you were aloud to be on the computer, you would follow her rules. WHATEVER THEY ARE. Any time on the computer is better than none at all.
OR, you can go to the library at lunch and use the computer there. YOUR choice. YOU decide!

i think the issue here is that your mom thinks you are using the computer not for homework but for fun. is that true? if it isn't, go into your saved files and show her so she can see that you are in fact doing your homework on the computer. if you are using it to IM and all that other stuff, she may have a point and ironically, bc she loves you and worries about online predators. simplest bottom line - show her what's in the computer to prove your point. and don't wish death on her. it's hard to see at your age but trust me, she loves you. as you get older you will know it to be true.
