Time is something rarely given , yet appreciated the most in memories.. go for a spa day, head to toe.. massages, nails, pedicures .then hair and make-up.. buy an outfit and shoes .. then go out to someplace to have fun at interact.. make it two days over the week-end if can.. bathing suits as a second outfit.. build sand castles.. who says fun is only for kids..
the more we get in touch with the lighter side of us , the kid inside we can be silly and remember the times we really were close as kids and the bond is better for the future.. If you haven't been all that close , never late to start. Give her a album of old childhood pictures. go to a park walk a dog, borrow a dog if don't have one.. go on the merry go round.. go to Disneyland.. I'm nearly 60 and my husband and i are best friends.. we may not be sisters.. but, any bond of friendship is what it is all about in the end.. Love and caring..
the days pass all to quickly not to appreciate the small and simple things in life or the meaning someone adds to those moments.. Have Fun!!! :) Otherwise.........

Here's something creative that will be appreciated and you will have fun doing:
Make up a crossword puzzle and have all the hints be personal inside moments and jokes that only you two would know about. Put it on a poster board and add some clipart and some pictures to it!
The crossword puzzle could be time consuming and a bit frustrating ... you could do the same idea with a WORDSEARCH or WORDFIND puzzle.
Put your computer skills to work! Use Excel, get clipart from Yahoo Images Search, copy them, and reformat them, use a gluestick to put on posterboard.
Use graph paper, and pictures from magazines if you are not as good on the computer, and it will give it a homemade feeling.
