My father thinks that the only jobs I should do around the house is house chores and leave my little brother all the "man" work. I am just as capable as my brother is, but the problem is that he thinks I'm weak and dumb when it comes to appliations just because I'm a girl. What should I do?

PROVE HIM WRONG

I was in a little different situation but could really be the same answer. Ok so i am a guy, i have an older, stronger,DUMBER brother and my dad told me that i should go in and worry about the laundry with my mother when they were fixing the car. Ok i have nothing against women or doing laundry but for the fact my father insinuated that i was a girl it kind of ticked me off. This is what you do... You are going to have to beat your brother in a "mans thing". It sounds rediculous cuz it is. Do not show your father you can do Guy things.. show your father you can do guy things better than you brother. Its going to take a little while but it should work. Let me know if it does.. Ok

Tim
