I have 1 girl (6) and 2 boys (12&15). I love to cook, unfortunately my thing is dinners and pies. For some reason I seem to burn cookies lately. So movie times is store bought so my boys can't ridicule burnt cookies. They enjoy plump sugar cookies with chocolate and vanilla fosting to spread over. we have also done deco-cake frosting to see who can get the craziest design on a cookie.
We also enjoy getting the largest bowl inhouse and dumping a wide variety of popcorn, pretzels, chips, dried fruit, what ever into it and indulging in our moment together.

My favorite cookie is a no bake chocolate peanut butter. Really simple, just put instant oatmeal, Hershey's cocoa, and peanut butter and milk cook until starts to get thick and spoon on wax paper.

That's the life isn't it, nothing better than snuggling in for the evening and snacking on things you made together and watching a movie. The bonding is unbelievable and it is an impression they will keep with them always.

I have three children I am widowed and my children will talk about how we all use to do that and their dad would scare them just to hear them scream then laugh.

I know I am trying to build more fond memories with them that they will look back just as fondly. I think my husband was more success full in life than he thought because to me success is when your kids have those memories to look back on and it will always bring a smile
