she is eight years old and a size 12 uk. she lives with her obese mother and grandmother, we all get on very well, i have told her dad my partner that she needs help and he agrees but he finds it difficult to do anything about it, he says because he doesn't live with her he doesn't have enough influence on her eating habits. i think he is burying his head in the sand . how can i help him to help his ex and their much loved daughter.

he comes from school and just uses the computer or some times he skips school just to use it please tell me what to do his results of his school are so bad just because of that and he's out of his mind!!!!!please help

I really want to get something for my mum this Mother's Day. We don't usually do presents on this day but all my friends are getting presents for their mums so I feel I should buy her something.

But... eh... I have no money. I literally do not have a PIN number and the only cash I have comes to about £2.

What else can I do to make sure she has a good mother's day? =)

My dad is in stage 4 kidney cancer and he just came home from the hospital. My wife and my mom don't want to get involved with anything. My wife is going back to her mom house to sleep so it left me and my cousin to take care my dad. Can some one tell me what should I do? Thanks!!

My oldest brother doesnt seem to like me very much at all. He never tries talkin to me or anything. He talks to my other two brothers and is cool with them, but for some reason and idk why, he seems to dislike me alot.

Traditionally, My husband, the 3 kids, and I have split Easter Sunday amongst our family. My side usually goes to the park around noon, has a picnic, and all of the kids hunt for eggs, etc. We try to do it early because a relative works in the afternoon. We usually go over to his parent's house in the afternoon and have dinner and stay the entire evening. This year things have changed. My husband's sister and her husband decided to go on a trip and have my In-laws watch their daughter for a week. After their trip they fly in Easter Sunday at 6am, plan to stay a little during the day, and then all of them have to be at the airport by 5pm to go back home. My MIL isn't planning anything Easter-related for the day. It's just a simple lunch and visiting. The kids will probably be bored and watching TV in the back room. They live in an active adult community and it's all rocks and desert plants. There's not an outside area to play in. MIL doesn't want it combined. What do we do?

my sister lies to my parents alot and they hve their bad moments. it was because she doesnt want to let go of her boyfriend. but my sister went way over the top and lied about going to church. She was bad at lying this because her story didnt make sense. what should i do?

I have a handsome younger brother aged 17. Just because I m not as pretty as his gf, he scold me 'ugly thing'.

ALSO, he keep going against him for nothing. Even when I sneeze, he would scream at me, saying that I m noisy and disgusting. My parent is also getting fed-up with his attitude.

What can i do to stop him from his bad attitude towards me.

I am 16 years old and i have a boyfriend. We have been together for 1 year and 5 months. His dad has just recently started to abuse him. For one i am scared that he will be like that with me. He is always grounded. We use to be like PPJ. together all the time. Now he can't see me and he isn't aloud to call me. I feel like we are being pulled apart. It doesn't help that his dad and step mom hate me for something that i didn't even do. Could he be breaking up with me? He is changing. I go to his work to see him but he is different around me. He use to always hug and kiss me now i have to always hug and kiss him. I am confuesed. Should i stay or should i leave? Either way it will be hard. So someone PLEASE give me so GOOD advice. thanks.

I am 22 and I cry a lot about that. I know that we all die but I am so sensitive about this that it bring me to tears a lot, especially at night when I'm trying to sleep. Does anyone else do this? I just want them around forever!

my psycho MIL she wants it her way or its hell way shes too controlling wants things done only the way she wants if i dont listen then a fight breaks out with her insulting cursing me but i stay quiet,,i cant handle this now....im an adult not a kid im not about to go listen to her when my own parents dont tell me what to do not to mention whos gona listen to this insults im gona open my mouth but im controlling it due to my husband will fight with me more then he already does since she lies to him about things about me that r FALSE .shes a clean freak who comes in my room curses me out if i didnt quickly throw away my pepsi can as soon as it finished..i have to do things ASAP according to her and i dont feel relaxed i feel soooo annoyed and trapped...i have a little baby how do u expect this from me to be cleaning all day i takecare of the baby 24/7 is she human or what????

Our teen had a child and the other grandparent that continues to work against us has petitioned the court for visitation.. Her son has never seen the child and has not requested visitation on the grandparent has. We feel that she has not only lied to us but our daughter. Our moral beliefs are opposite and we would like to get her petition denied... The only way to do that is by proving that her relationship with the child would harm the child... I do not know how to word this... Does anyone have any help???

I've lost touch with my "next in line" parents; they weren't officially my Godparents, but took care of me off and on for years as they and my parents were close friends. Howie strongly resembles their son - my kids saw a picture and asked me how I got a pic of Howie at such a young (college) age. They would, of course, be his grandparents; but both have passed and I lost touch with their kids. Any and all help would be appreciated. God Bless!

He passes gas and burps at the dinner table. His topics are disgusting and innapropiate.My mother and father raised my sister and I different, and would NOT approve of this if she was still married to my real father. I have asked my step-father to stop but he finds it amusing.I dont find it amusing. He always acts like my 8 year old cousin, exept he is 27. My mother is 36, and my real father is 43. This is why older women should stick with older men! He also does many other childish, immature things and will not stop unless my mother tells him to. I find it extremly annoying and im out of answers. How do i stop this nonsence?! [Please excuse my spelling.]

Ok here is the deal i have this best friend we will call her "sarah" me and my husband let her move in with us to help her out a bit because her dad died and she had no where else to turn but now that she has been here awhile she is taking advantage of us and me nor my husband wants her here anymore but i dont want to kick her out because the rest of her family dont want her. but her is the deal she is 25 she dont have a job she doesnt help with bills we support her soda and cigerette habit she yells at my daughter which is really pissing us off she uses all our gas and she doesnt help clean she just sets on her *** in front of the tv oor on the computer please tall me what to do before i began to hate her?!!!

my brother is addicted to drugs and he calls us me and my other brothers and sisters and ask for money, we know it is for the drugs but he says the dealers know where he lives and if he does not pay, than they will hurt him and our family, but if we give him the money he might just buy more drugs, he is in his late 30s, and he feels his life is worthless, filled with failures, he did get his ged, he started hanging out with the wrong crowd as a teenager and I guess he never grew up, he is older than most of my siblings and we constantly worry about him, I worry that he might wind up dead one day, and the worst part is that he does not care if he gets hurt or not, we tell him that he is hurting us and our parents too but he always find a way to get back into trouble, drugs, alcohol, fights, how do I help him?

the kids she means her four kids and their spouses and the eight grand kids. My son is only 16 months old and I feel this is a wasted trip. Not only will he not remember it or be able to do many things (he can't even walk yet), I will have to take a week off of work and a quarter off of school in order to drive the 700+ miles to get there. Once we are there, it will be a nightmare because when we take a long trip, my son gets "off-schedule" and cranky. I suggested everyone go without us. Everyone thinks I'm a spoil-sport because I think we should wait until the kids (ages 4 months, 16 months, 2, 3, 4, 5, 9, 12) are a little older. What do you guys think?
