I really want to get something for my mum this Mother's Day. We don't usually do presents on this day but all my friends are getting presents for their mums so I feel I should buy her something.

But... eh... I have no money. I literally do not have a PIN number and the only cash I have comes to about £2.

What else can I do to make sure she has a good mother's day? =)

your mum will appreciate anything you do, why not make her a card, simple breakfast in bed and make her vouchers, just a few, that she can "cash" in whenever she wants, like-i will vaccum the whole house, i will wash the dishes and clean the kitchen, etc things like that, mums really appreciate a break from the chores and will see that thought has gone behind this gift, make the vouchers look like cheques or something fun, this will last a whole lot longer than any box of chocolates!!! good luck

If you live at home, make your Mum breakfast in bed. Make sure you do some (or all!) of the household chores. Give her a manicure. Make her a card instead of buying one - this will be more personal and be well received. Go out for a walk together if the weather is nice - to the park or somewhere she may have taken you to as a child. Make the day special for here - you don't need to spend loads of money. Just make her feel appreciated.

you don't need money to let your Mum know you love her why don't you do everything for her on Sunday and keep telling her how much you love her. It makes my heart melt when my Son and Daughter tell me they love me and thats every time we see each other or when we talk on the phone. My Son is in Iraq and he sent me a Mothers Day Card which I received at the beginning of the week and do you know that was worth a million bouquets or presents so please just tell her you love her

I was broke one fathers day and I decided to write my dad a little story about all my happy memories I had growing up and how important it was having him as an active role in my life. I put a picture of me on the cover and I gave it to him with a chocolate. He laughed so much and tears rolled down his cheeks. He really loved it. I think that will be the best gift you can give your mom, a trip down memory lane.

mums truly don't care about presents. a hug, a kiss, to be told that you appreciate all that she has done for you. to spend some time with her talking about girly things. watch a film together. let her know that you love her. tell her that it matters to you that she is happy. all these things are wonderful to her. one of the best days i had with my daughter was when she asked me to do her hair for her like when she was a little girl again. to feel needed.

With a sincere gesture like a really good hug and say "i love you mum" are the best words you can tell her on that day.

Stay at home on mother's day and help her on all her chores. well..... you could do all her chores for her. Let her have that day off. I'm sure she'd be very pleased. Help her more often, not only on mothers day.... That would make her very very happy!!! .... that would be the best gift you can give her.
