Yes, I love them no matter how foolish and pig-headed they can be. If it gets extremely difficult or they get too childish for me to handle, I simply tell them I love them both, but refuse to be in the middle or be witness to it. They should be grownups and be civil. They need to figure out the problems they have and either work to resolve them or get out. If they are already split, they need to stay away from each other and be civil towards one another when in mixed company (it's a matter of respect and courtesy). It's the worst feeling in the world to be in the room when your family is bickering or making snide remarks to one another. I feel your pain!

Yes, no matter what they do. They are family after all. So give some and take some.

I love my dad....
My mother however can rot in hell. She not only screwed my dad over for the 62360707934779704th time, but this last time she ran off with another married man... I can deal with that, but he wasn't just married, but he was a MORMON of all things. May God have mercy on her soul.
Thankfully he doesn't partake in polygamy, but still, a Mormon? WTF over?
