I don't know, but even after all my years, mine seems to have this absolutely annoying ability to always be right!

Nah. My mother was never a perfectionist. She is just way extremely good at reading people, knowing us (my brother and I) and being able to make accurate statements.

I think it's possible, but rare indeed. Think about it, you have been with your mom forever, literally. Ever since that night your mom and dad made you, every cell in your body was being nourished by her body.

Then you came out and she was there 24/7. Mom has you figured out down to a subconscious level. Dads are pretty good too, but I think moms know the deal.

Your mom isn't perfect - of course she could be wrong at times. But again, rarely.

I think its more of a mothers intuition.

I told my 20 year old son the other day that he better wear his seat belt, he is known for not wearing one.
The next day he got pulled over and got a ticket.

Things like this happen a lot.

Also we as Parents have learned from experience and can see our children getting ready to make the same mistake, so we are able to tell them before hand, what they could expect to happen, its up to them if they listen to us or not.

And yes I have been wrong a time or two...And I am sure many more to come.

When children are getting into adulthood yes its very possible to be wrong. You don't know what the kid thinks he needs he is acting on instinct. We all worry about this, but the point is that we don't know what they need until they say what they need and even then its hard to let go. And even if you turn out right, dont tell them be quiet. They don't need to know you are right they already know and feel bad about it and will come to you in future. Take care Heather

sadly mothers draw on whatever she had seen you do before YOU decided you were a grown up. she saw you make terrible mistakes in judgment...your hair? your boyfriends ? and skipping classes. Then the beer and the lies. Then you fell in love and gave away the one thing she didn't have control of. Your virginity !!! how could you???

My Mom is never wrong, and if she was wqrong, she won't admit it, and if I tell her that I am right, she'll through a fit like a little kid.

It is posib;e to outsmart your partents. My dad's IQ is 112, grandma's is 142, and mine is 154.

IQ, I am smarter than both of them XP

Can you explain what 'PHYSICALLY POSSIBLE' means? Are you saying is it possible for a mother to be wrong about something with one of her children? Or are you saying your mother is always right?

there must be alot of pressure to please your mom,she seems to be a perfectionist, and that is not right. we are not perfect. she needs to not judge you wrongly. she may have insecurities about herself,so she is taking out those insecurities on you. ask her how she is feeling, if there is something wrong, hopefully she'll open up to you.
