I personally am so tired of watching naked "Victoria's Secrets" ~~ANGELS~~ on my TV, hearing prime time saysing "*****, BASTARD, ****, OR GOD DAMNED!"
YOUR WORLD AS WELL AS MINE? IS GOING TO HELL; & "WE" ARE RIGHT SMACK DAB IN THE MIDDLE OF IT!
HOW? CAN WE CHANGE THIS? I DO NOT EVEN WANT MY 5 YR OLD TO WATCH "CARTOONS!"

The ONLY way to change this is to STOP supporting or purchasing products from the SPONSORS of these shows, to change the channels, and yes, VOTE with your income to NOT support programs like this.
UNFORTUNATELY, this Empty-Nesting Single has seen this change as well in televised programming, which is why MY TV is either on News (sometimes), Food Channel, Discovery, or other programs that are not offensive .. and if I can't find anything that I would WANT to watch ... well, I've gotten quite the collection of the "OLD" time Movies/TV Shows (the ones without all this gratuitous junk), and just turn one on ... no commercials, nothing except something that I WANT to see.
(I really am wondering why all these offensive, racist, nasty 'cartoons' are now on Cartoon Network too ... I know plenty of parents who do not set reasonable bedtimes for kids and these children see that stuff ... horrible!)
When my children were in the home ... it was reading and board games ... and yes, I did block offensive programming.

I don't think you can change it because unfortunatly this is what most of society wants. What is important is that you are teaching your child good morals and values by not allowing him to watch these things and if he accidently see's a "victoria secret porn commercial" well at least he's being raised the right way so he'll know that this is not a good thing. As far as cartoons go I'd go to walmart and buy all the old cartoons.......from way back like in the early 90's.......rainbow bright, chipmunks, the jetsons, the flinstones, punky bruster and etc. I wish we could change the world, that would be great but unfortunatly we cant. but what we can do is change how we run our households. your off to a great start by banning these shows from your home and that makes you a great parent! God Bless you and don't worry your 5 yr old will grow up to be a great kid!

i in my opinion think of she ought to nonetheless watch the teach, it style of feels unjust for her to no longer watch a teach using fact there are snails in them... a good number of my acquaintances are christian and that they nonetheless watch those teach. i be attentive to a pal who's mothers and dads are VERY non secular and that they nonetheless watch anime/Kirby. SO what if one or 2 of them popped into the teach, doesnt advise this is the biggest character of the teach. If ur husband continues to be as obdurate as ever, then attempt to get your daughter right into a clean t.v. teach.

you can write letters to the company. have a petition.
