this is an email i sent my dad after that i'm done trying. is that ok?
i'm not sending you an email to cause any trouble or grief. i just have a few things to say. respond if you want to or leave at this.

i feel like you missed so much of my life because you didn't want to be in it.
i feel that you never wanted kids.
i feel that you thought raising kids without mom was too hard and gave up.
i want what we use to have.
i miss being your pumpkin.
one day i want you to walk me down the aisle because you want to not because you feel obligated to.
i hate how you tell chelsea that i'm a *****
i hate how you don't want chelsea talking to me because you think i'm a bad influence.

dad,

i graduated with honors, i have a college degrees, i'm supporting myself and i know the real world is hard but i'm making it and have been for 3 years now. i'm 20 and i feel you've missed so much. i'm not trying to pull a guilt trip just trying to get **** off my chest.

love,
natash

i am asking this in respect of a family friend, not myself!!!
two youngsters, both 16. future step brother/sister.
parents of each respective child are engaged, been together for 6 years, long standing very secure, marriage soon.
children have grown up together for 6 years, have recently started to have more than friendly feelings for each other.
both mum and dad of children very ok with the blossoming relationship, other siblings are as well.
just wondered if any other people have gone throough the same/similar experience. the relationship has not had any problems as far as any other adults in the family are concerned.
they go to seperate schools, so problems with other school kids should not arise.
just wondering what other peoples experiences in this area are. thanks.

Is being a MOTHER really-REALLY tough? Are you proud and happy to become a MOTHER? How do you LOVE your DAUGHTER?

I'm 19 years old now and I always want to have a child... well, two actually. A daughter and a son, I wish. My mom has passed away during my childhood, that's why I can't never get her answer for this very kind of question.... I miss her, really miss her.... But I believe somewhere over the rainbow, she's truly out there, keeps watching and taking a good care of me....

This is for all mother out there, what should a DAUGHTER do to make her MOTHER really proud and happy of her? What should I do to make my mom really proud and happy of me?

I am unemployed. I ought to step up my search for employment. I have an elderly mother, that has her mind slowing going sour, and will blank out at times. I need work, but also feel the need to watch her as well. I need to work, to hire and pay for some one to stop by and care for her while I am not home, wich again requires that I find work, wich again raises the problem of her safty when I am not there. nursing facilities are out of the picture. This is totaly a situation, ware she lives in her own home till the end.

ok...
i haven't seen my dad in 3 years now. he was an alcoholic and drug addict and he abused my mother and family but never physically, just verbally and emotionaly. when i was 12, me, my mum and my brothers and sister had to leave the house in the night because we were too scared to stay. he saw us and tried to grab my little brother and told him he loved him and he wanted him to stay with him because my mum was a bad person. he kept shouting and crying and it was just horrible. i still have flashbacks of that day...
so he moved to another flat and we had to go and visit him every sunday. i dont really remember much of that except that it was very awkwardand i didn't like it. eventually, my mum decided she didn't want us to see him anymore, so she went to court about it. the judge said that i didn't have to see him because i was old enough not too, but the others did. i was 13 then. now i'm 16.
he met a woman on the internet shortly after and moved to italy to live with her. but it

When I was 12-16 years old, I used to talk to myself. Whenever I was sad and lonely, that was a thing I did, talk to myself.

Anyways, I used to like this boy in middle school and he told me he liked me too. BUt than, one day, he saw me walking down the stairs talking to myself. So, now he don't like me no more.

Right now, I'm almost 19, I go to school with the same people that I went to school in Middle school so they think I'm the same girl who used to talk to herself. Whenever I have problems, I talk with family and friends.

How can I face the people who used to see me as that weird, crazy girl?

My sister had a severe allergic reaction to a cookie she ate at a popular coffee and doughtnut shop in Canada. I want to know why on earth peanut products are allowed in places like that? It makes me so angry. The only excuse they gave for her ending up with a peanut butter cookie is quote " we were just so busy...I must have got your order messed up" CAN YOU BELIVE THAT! she almost died and that was their excuse ! What makes it worse is the cookies didn't even look or smell like peanut butter. My sister didn't know until she broke out in hives and her throat started to close...thank Goodness for epi pens.
So this is my question ...do you think that peanut products should be allowed in places like that ? there are so many people that are allergic and mistakes like this happen all the time ... I think it is time they did something about it.

VERY ANGRY!

I'm a freshman at the University of Cincinnati and don't really like it. I'm almost positive I want to transfer to Ohio State next year. My parents have said "give it a year" and I have agreed but my dad is the problem. He says he doesn't want me to "school-hop" and I've told him that this will be last and final choice. I think my parents attribute my "not likeing Cinci" to the fact that I've gone through so many changes since I got here: Me and my girlfriend of 18months split, I don't live at home anymore, I have to make new friends (hard since I'm very shy), but that's not the issue. I don't like the city. The neiborhood is terrible. It's run down and you can't go near it without getting mugged... I don't know tho.... I just don't like Cinci. Has anyone out there ever been here? If so could you give me some Ammo. I need reasons. I need to convince my parents. Thanks so much for reading this.

My brother and I inherited a substantial amount of money from our father in 2001. My brother is 63 years old, I am 57. I have invested the money properly, and it will help me and my wife in our retirement if I protect it. My brother, however, has already spent his share of the inheritance. Trips to Europe, expensive jewelry, etc. He doesn't work for a living, and has no visible means of supporting himself. Throughout his life, he never held a steady job and my parents always gave him money to get by. He has run out of money and now wants to “borrow” from me.

I am usually a generous person, but if I begin supporting my brother, I'm afraid that my wife and I won't have enough money to retire.

How do you think I should handle this?
Thanks very much for your help.

My sister was grounded for the past two weeks for cussing at mom. She's 11.
All week long she was kissing up to mom to get out of her last day of grounding but mom wouldn't give in.

So my sister snuck out of her window and went to a basketball game, my little brother ratted her out to mom just to get her in trouble. Which she did.

I'm still in shock that mom actually put her across her knee
and spanked her, my mom never spanked any of us, she
popped us on the butt but nothing like what my sister got.
Besides the spanking mom grounded Heather for 1 month!

I know what my sister did was wrong, but if mom would of
let her go to the game she would of never sneaked out.
All this could of been avoided.

Don't you think thats too much punishment for my sister?
Should I speak to mom and try to get the grounding down to
2 weeks?

I'm mad at my brother to for ratting her out.

My daughter is 20. Very long to explain so I will be as brief and concise as possible. I started having problems with her when she was an adolescent. Defiance, etc. I am divorced from her father, (abusive to me and very manipulative to children). I got remarried when she was 6. Her stepdad and her got along great. I have 3 other boys, one from my previous marriage, one from my ex's marriage and our own child together. When she was in High School things got worse. She would play both ends against the middle, and then her behavior grew worse and she was very disrespectful to me and the house rules. She left and moved in with her father. After just 3 months she wanted toc ome home so she did. All was forgiven. I redecorated her bedroom and gave her a big party to welcome her home because I missed her and loved her so much. Then, about 6-7 months later she started again acting weird. She ran off and told me she wasn't coming home. Her grandmother picked her up from school and she

i'm a single mom, i got pregnant by a married man. my daughter is now 4 years old. she's starting to ask why her dad is not living with us. her dad lives far from us and we don't have constant communication. i don't wanna lie to my daughter. she is so vulnerable. i'm so worried that if i tell her the truth, it will greatly affect her emotionally. is it okay to tell her now that her dad has his own family? when is the right time to tell her? i mean, generally, the right age?

On thursday my Mother-in-law began end of life care at a nursing home in a city about 150 miles away. My daughter is there visiting some friends, her mother is at the nursing home with the grandmother. My daughter told my wife by cell phone, that she came to visit her friends and that she didn't feel a need to see her grandmother even for a minute, this is her weekend off from work and she's going to enjoy it.

She's a pharmacy technician, 25 years old, and is hanging with some of her loser friends this weekend less than 2 blocks from the nursing home.

Is she wrong not to atleast come and say goodbye to her grandmother. I'd like to beat her a ss down when she gets home for showing such disrespect.
