When I was 12-16 years old, I used to talk to myself. Whenever I was sad and lonely, that was a thing I did, talk to myself.

Anyways, I used to like this boy in middle school and he told me he liked me too. BUt than, one day, he saw me walking down the stairs talking to myself. So, now he don't like me no more.

Right now, I'm almost 19, I go to school with the same people that I went to school in Middle school so they think I'm the same girl who used to talk to herself. Whenever I have problems, I talk with family and friends.

How can I face the people who used to see me as that weird, crazy girl?

You are not a weird crazy girl...
You talk to yourself..
I find that to be very feminine and endearing.....

talking to yourself is simply thinking out loud. but if you do it all the time it can come off as a little creepy. talking to yourself is something that should be done in more private places, u know? for startes i dont really think you can fix the way they see you. so forget about them, and just be more concious of when your talking to yourself and with time you wont do it that often. eventually you'll meet new people and the old ones wont even remember how you used to talk to yourself anymore. and if they do, and hold it up to you all the time, then they're not worth your time. just concentrate on meeting new people.

You are not crazy, talking to ones self is normal for most people in one form or another. I have always talk to myself and I have great conversation with me. I do try to talk to myself not in public but when i do I just smile and laugh it off. You can tell others that know you that it is just a habit and that most sane people talk to themselves. You are just more animated about it. Believe me I am older than you and once you are out of high school you may never see your school mates again. So just raise your head high and tell yourself you are more than normal as everyone talks to themselves one time or another and if they don't they are lying to themselves.

Work on not talking out in public, people talk to them self, but they try and not do it in public. Now you show them, just concentrate on your school work. Work on yourself. You will be okay, don't worry about people, they will always have something to say!

change areas, don't ever go back to where you came from...will solve the problem more easily than anything else...no one will ever forget the nut walking down the street babbling to herself.

Make them understand you've grown up.
