I am unemployed. I ought to step up my search for employment. I have an elderly mother, that has her mind slowing going sour, and will blank out at times. I need work, but also feel the need to watch her as well. I need to work, to hire and pay for some one to stop by and care for her while I am not home, wich again requires that I find work, wich again raises the problem of her safty when I am not there. nursing facilities are out of the picture. This is totaly a situation, ware she lives in her own home till the end.

contact her doctor, he will be able to help you make arrangements for someone to come into the home while your not there, you can also contact the department of social service,or office for the aging. these were all very helpful for my mother and i. i have a full time job and was not able to be at home with her all of the time.i now live with my two children in my own home while my mother is able to stay in her own. she has people that come in every day. your mom might even be able to get someone to stay with her over night. give them a call.
