I'm happy to say that I have picked up a few traditions/habits from my Dad who passed away 3 years ago. He always made sure we had a good Christmas; he always made sure to feed the wild birds in the wintertime and pre-warms his coffee mug before pouring coffee in it.... A bit quirky, but I like it. How about you?

On Saturday my father-in-law was celebrating his 50 birthday at my in-laws house and when the cake cutting moment came along my mother in-law said "lets take a picture with the kids " so my Husband walks and stands next to his father and well I joined him... this is when it all crashes and burns. My ridiculas Mother In-law grabs me and pulls me out of the picture infront of about 5 other people and tells me "No, not you only our kids" i was so offended!! And the reason why it was so hurtful besides the fact that she felt it was not my place to be in the picture is the fact that it is not the first time that they take a "family pic" that I was not invited too for example for New Years Eve the same thing happend exept I waited to be invited into the "family pic" and that invitation never came along.

My little sister,Courtney is 11. All of her life she has had siblings that were much older than her. I myself am 11, years older, and with each sibling the age range just becomes larger. I accept the fact that she's young and impressionable, does what she sees, and what not, but she's wearing thongs! Her mother (we don't have the same mom) allows her to do this, and wonders why she acts so old. Courtney, has a severe attitude problem, and talks back to everyone. I know that teenagers go through this phase, but 11 yr olds? Her mother is a BIG TIME alcoholic, and doesn't pay attention to her. But when she visit's my father's house, we always pay attention to her. Why is she doing these things at such a young age?
Do you have any advice to share?

I'm a firm believer in discipline, and I think she should have her *** beat, when she acts up. No one really punishes her for her actions, it's starting to get to me. She's is getting away with more than I ever did, growing up.

I have a seriously messed up sister.

She is 12. I'm 14. I hate having her around.
Just a second ago she wanted to have Yahoo Messenger, Yahoo Answers, and everything else.

I was forced to give her an email address. But, my parents wouldn't let me have one until I was 13.

She gets everything that she could ever want when she wants it!
I can't stand her.

She's the biggest butt in the world.

I HATE her. (even though i sort of love her)
The only reason that she is still living is because of my big brother...who is now in college.

(exageration I wouldn't really kill her)

But, I would love to.

Help me.

You get the point. Feel free to add to the list. I was just wondering what kind of parents other people grew up with. Most people I know came from disfunctional families. I guess I'm curious to see if it's just the ratio is high just around here or if that's how it is for most people.

My mom is a very good person. She has 12 kids in her daycare, she cooked food & dessert for a mother whos baby was dying in 4 weeks, she volunteers at hospice and does so much for people. She has the beginnings of Emphysema, and the Dr said he saw something on her lungs- hopefully it is nothing- and that is why she needs your prayers, can you please PRAY for my Mother!! Pray that everything will be ok, and also that she quits smoking. Her name is Randi L. Thank You

An essential part of our family,
an angel sent from up above.
Allee, you are our little miracle,
made from Mommy and Daddy's Love.

You have Mommy’s smile,
and you have Mommy’s nose.
You have your Daddy’s eyes,
and you have his toes!

You are a picture of the both of us,
a perfect mixture anyone can see.
You are a wonderful baby Allee Claire,
As beautiful as can be!

A year has come and gone,
so many memories in store.
We can’t wait for tomorrow,
when we can make many more.

Your smile has a way with us,
to make our blue days bright!
Recalling what we live for,
when things just don’t go right.

You are our little girl Allee,
no one will ever replace.
Remember we are always here for you,
when life’s too hard to face.

From your open mouthed kisses,
to your tiny little hugs.
You make us feel so lucky
with all your baby love.

We love you always Allee,
beyond all the rest.
We hope you have a great 1st birthday,
one that’s the very best!

homeless. But I feel guilty quite often.I mean she forgave me a long time ago but I still feel gulity. She honestly tried to keep things going for me in my life even when she was'nt mentally well, I mean we were kicked out but she found us a place to stay for a while and kept my educatio going for me.Am I cursed by god now for doing such a terrible thing?I know it was a few years ago and she talks to me and it was sorted out but I wonder to myself how I could have done such a terrible thing..What do I do now?Do I carry on I mean it was a messed up thing for me to do even if it was a few years back. What kind of a person am I?If only god can judge us how does he judge me?Imean I got in trouble for it naturally but I sometimes feel like I dont deserve to live even if the rest of my family did look in their hearts and forgive me.

I really like this co-worker and he really likes me! I'm with someone I love and have been with for the over 3 and 1/2 years of my life. My Boyfriend loves my son, but I'm not sure what to do anymore cause he acts imature at times and I always tell him. We have almost lived together for a 1 year and I feel like I want to try something new with my co-worker, but not really. I'm scared to leave home. I have a kid and need to look out for him. Ok, I'm 24 and the co-worker is 39! We have different taste in things and we don't really have that much of a common ground, but we really like one another. He tells me that I'm always on his mind, but I don't know! He has a son and he's divorced! His son and my son love hanging with one another b/c they are only 3 years apart. My son's 7 and his 10! I really like him too, but I feel that I'm not ready to move on and I love my current boyfriend, but its getting really hard at work, b/c we take breaks togther. What should I do? I Luv both my boys?
