I withdrew from my calculus class earlier last semester, but my parents don't know.. My dad saw the W on my report card online a few days ago and asked me if I withdrew from that class, but I told him that I didn't withdraw and it was the school that made a mistake. (I really regret not telling him when he had asked me.) He told me yesterday that he's going to talk to the school dean and ask about it. What should I do?? Should I wait until he finds out or should I tell him now? I'm kind of scared to see my parents reaction when they find out...

we have a 1 year old together and ever since then he has been controlling saying things like"things will be my way or get out of my house" then the next minute he can be the man i fell in love with i feel that he literally finds things to "nag" on me about, calls me insulting names, never lets me have a say in any given argument, he says "i don't care what you have to say" for real he gets angry because I didn't figure out my paycheck according to him he is always negative putting me down , his new favorite idon't put in 100% into my new job even though he was invited to my second interview and explained the pros and cons of a 100% commission pay job every time i try to explain to him about my new career i'm making excuses! I am so worried that the way he treats me or handles himself will effect our son's childhood and well- being how do i handle this situation and protect my sons and i happy life that i want to give him HOW DO I MAKE MY FIANCE JUST LISTEN TO WHAT I HAVE TO SAY????

Hello everyone... I have recently found my father to whom I haven't spoken with since I was 16 yrs old on Christmas Day he decided to walk away from me for good and moved to another state and didn't even tell me.. My mom and dad had been divorced since I was 7 but I had seen him off and on till that point in my life.. I haven't had any contact with him until I found him online through Yahoo Directory and sent him an email on Dec 22.. He replied back to me on Dec 24th but with a sob story and made it out like he knew he wasn't a very good dad and that he was sorry but that he didn't feel any of his kids loved and accepted him for him only what he could provide for them and if he couldn't that we didn't want anything to do with him.. I was the complete opposite and it hurt to read him saying that.. Should I continue to email him or give a possible relationship with my dad now that I am an adult with my own children?

Mother moved out when she found a new boyfriend. A divorce later ensued in which my son was given full custody and she was ordered to pay child support.

From the day this child was born, mother pushed her off on to others. Her mother took care of the child the first two years and we have had her ever since. Our son lives with us.

The court gave my son full custody and ordered mother to get a job and pay child support and half of all meds. Mother did not visit with or call the first three months after she left the home. When the court proceedings were in process, she only visited to try to get alimony and child support, but as soon as the court denied her both and ordered her to pay, she stopped visiting and/or calling.

Mother married new boyfriend and has two children with him. We haven't heard from her since before Thanksgiving. Child was devastated when mother did not even call for Christmas. Now what do we do? How do we get rid of her permanently?

I'm 17 years old and my parents are divorced. My mom has had two affairs so far and has been married three times. She's also an alcoholic but has been able to remain sober for a couple years now. My previous step-father lived with us for 3 years (until she had her second affair...) and he was also an alcoholic and addicted to cocaine. He brought this stuff into our house numerous times. Later, I moved in with my dad and things were ok for awhile. Now, things are getting bad again... He drinks all of the time and keeps weed in our house. He's constantly gone and I'm taking care of myself anyhow. He yells at me all of the time and tells me that I'm "worthless, pathetic, disappointing, he never wanted me, just like my mother, and can only spread my legs for people". I've run away from home and know he's looking for me. I need help though. I can't go back. What rights do I have on this one?!

Ok I just received a phone call from my mom a few minitues ago. She told me to wake up and that my sister is about to get dropped of by my aunt. (she spent the night there last night.) By the tone of my mom's voice i could tell something as not good. She started talking about how my sister and our couzin stripped down last night and kissed on the lips. (they are both only 7.) My sister called my mom this morning and told her she wanted to come home. This is not the norm for my sister to do this so she was obviously not comfortable. My aunt and uncle do not know about this, beccause my couzin hasn't told them anything, the only reason my mom knows is because my sister called and tod her thats why she wants to come home.I dont know what to do! How do i bring it up when she gets here?

I married my husband two years ago. I moved in w/ him, his father, and his sister. The home was paid off 50/50 by my husband and his father. His father moved out about a year ago and when he moved out he said we could keep the house and not to worry about paying him back because that was his gift to us. So basically it is my husbands and my house. Well his sister asked if she could bring a friend to live w/ us and I said yes. Then she brought another sister to live us and I did not say anything either. So now It's my husband, his two sisters, his sisters friend, and I. I decorated the house, put up pictures, brought in new furniture because the house was empty when I moved in. Now his sisters are saying that they don't like a house w/ decorations, and that they wish I never changed anything because it's their home and not mine. If I put up a candle they take it down. If I put up anything they move it around and break my dishes and just destroy everything. I was fed up w/ it yesterday b

I think she has mental health or personality problems. Her viscious verbal attacks on me/ us are out of control. When she is at family gatherings, everyone is on tenterhooks, just dreading the onset of her complete lack of self control. Every time we are abused by her, we ignore her for a few weeks, but she persists in contacting us (being oh so reasonable, telling us that we really are quite unreasonable). As soon as we see her again, the trouble starts. It is affecting our mental health, and we are seriously doubting our sanity- yet we don't have such problems with any other friends or family. We dare not live our lives for fear that she will find out what we are doing, and subject us to yet more screaming abuse.
Last time, her screaming and shouting at us was so awful, it upset our 2 year old terribly, and I vowed never again to let that happen. She arrived unexpectedly at a party recently, and shouted at me in front of everyone. Everyone was just cringing with embarrasment

Our kid is 4 years old.He doesn't like his dad too much.I tried to let him visit with him.Thing is, he doesn't come around often so we don't call him.It seems that he only comes around if his mother comes in town.I never stopped him from seeing the kid. For Christmas, he didn't even call or come by to give presents.Last year he did.I don't expect anything from him. I've been more that good to him by leaving him do what he do.And being too nice by letting him have him when he calls but that's not often (may-be 2 or 3 times a year). The last time we heard from him was Nov. 5(his birthday) & he told me 2 call him when we get back home & we didn't but that still shouldn't stop him from calling.I moved on a long time ago & I feel that he's jealous of the new guy I have. But he has a girlfriend & been since we broke up(she will never have kids w/him b/c she was married b4 & had 3 kids & tied her tubes). This may B the only child he'll ever get. What's his problem? He does pay child support.

Almost a year ago, i left my country because i married my lovely husband in his native country. All that was a fairy tale story. Before that, even before meeting my husband, my mom and I didnt have a good relationship. She never told me that I did something right and treated me like the black sheep of the family( I was the youngest of two sisters). Now that I look back, I have always been a good girl. Everybody said I was lovely except her. After I met my husband, everything turned worst. Every single day was a torture. It was so stressful! WE ARGUED EVERYDAY. It was not just that, it was the things she said. They were totally incoherent. And I understand she didnt want me to leave, but why did she want to hurt me so bad? I was afraid of her killing me sometimes. Now, I feel better, but when I phone my mum she still says that I am to blame for all her illnesses and that i am a traitor for leaving my country. I want her to be ok and happy. What can I do?

I have been in an affair for the last 2 years and i'm gonna leave to another distant country to continue my undergraduate studies for 4 years. My girl friend is 2 years younger to me and we cant live without each other at all.She is scared that she wont be able to handle the situation when i'm abroad for 4 years(but i'll be 2wice a year). So she wants to take a break or to break up coz she knows that its so hard for us to live without each other and she says i'll mix up my studies and flunk. Then i started tellin her that i wont go abroad and do a degree in sri lanka.(which is our country). But she doesn want me to do that either coz of her.She is sayin im gonna miss a better opportunity. Both of us are very emotional lovers. She is still 17 and I'm 19Tell me the best possible things to continue a long distance affair! Other fact is my parents are unaware of this. Her mom only knows this. My parents are too conventional(remember we are south asians).

Plz help us!

Ok. So there's my question, but the reason that made me asked, is deeper. I have a relative that has been in the USA for over 16 years now, and when I recived the letter, I noticed it had a P.O.Box. What does this actually stand for? Is it a rental thing where you can recive your mail? Or is it the mail box that you keep outside your house in which the postman places the mail?
Please help me out, because whenever I wrote her, I never recived an answer. Which I supposse means that she does not recive my letter. [-o<

My brother's 2 years older than me, and up until now, we've got on really well, probably better than most brothers and sisters do. But, recently he's been very moody with me, eg. one minute he'll hug me and the next he'll curse at me and say really hurtful things when I haven't even done anything wrong.
Can boys get mood swings?
I've tried to confront him and ask him to stop being like this, but he just ignores me and continues at it.
What should I say to him? What do you think is up with him?
Is this normal for everyone?
Thanks for the help. x

About 3 months ago i moved out of a house i shared with my nephew and his mother. i moved into my own apartment. My brother joseph passed away on 6/15/2005 and he was also living with us. i stayed thinking i was helping to raise my 6yr old nephew who was 5 at the time his father died. Well his mother became verbally abusive and just plain out mean. my self esteem was so low that i stayed and about a month before i moved out she told me the only reason i was there was because of a promise she made to my brother. that hurt because i was paying half of 850.00 rent and paying for half the utilities i could not use the phone. if my family called she had something negative to say. but now that i am gone she is welcomed by my mother and family. i can not see my nephew because she does not like me. and even my 6 yr old nephew tells me my mommy say i can not see you anymore. it hurts alot because i did so much for her and now my family has turned against me for leaving. what do i do?

my old mom passed away xmas day. now my sisters have taken control of her house and have made it obvious I am not wanted around. I drove many miles to help pack up moms things but they have wasted my time stating they want to absorb the atmosphere of her stuff etc in their own time. While being quite cuthroat and occasionally devious they now tell me they will have a carpet cleaner in tomorow probably unsupervised. My sister tells me she is my mothers executor but refuses to show me any proof. The will is with the public trustee but my concern is if my mothers wishes are not carried out and things go missing, is it my fault for not being firm, or can anyone be held responsible for missing items? Am I just paranoid?
