What words of wisdom did you ignore that you now find you say to your own children?

ME - 'School is the best days of your life' for starters!!!

As much i rebelled at school, hien sight is a wonderful thing, and yes i do agree that school were best days of my life, because working hard 50 hours a week being single with two kids is no walk in the park!

Starving kids in Africa, yep my Mum & Dad said that to me.

If they leave a door open i ask them do they live in a barn and please put the wood in the hole!

Quote - Clearing up after children is like shovelling snow whilst it's still snowing!

I hate that saying - do you really think that is correct? My mum always said it to me but as much as I dislike work I'll never wish I was back there! My mum always told me not to smoke but I thought I was cool. Now I have been without them for 6 months. it was the hardest thing ever & I wish I had listened & I did'nt even know what a cigarrette tasted like

Never pass up the opportunity to take a nap.
Always have on clean underpants.
Never pass up a 'pit stop' when on a long trip.
Worry about the children not the housework.....it will always be there, they won't.

Don't come running to me when you break your leg,
I'll make you smile on the other side of your face,
May the lord drop his clog on you,.
I know that these aren't what you are looking for,but when I look back,I think that they are hilarious!
