My brother's 2 years older than me, and up until now, we've got on really well, probably better than most brothers and sisters do. But, recently he's been very moody with me, eg. one minute he'll hug me and the next he'll curse at me and say really hurtful things when I haven't even done anything wrong.
Can boys get mood swings?
I've tried to confront him and ask him to stop being like this, but he just ignores me and continues at it.
What should I say to him? What do you think is up with him?
Is this normal for everyone?
Thanks for the help. x

I think boys do get mood swings lol.... any way. There is probably something going on in his life that you don't know about. It could be drugs, alcohal, a girlfriend, a bestfriend, or anything at school. What ever the problem try and get him to talk to you. HE prbably could use your support now.... lock him in a room and force him to tell you if you have to.

Oh and if it is a serious problem like drigs.... go straight to your parents no matter what.... even iif he'll hate you at first. I think he'll thank you in the long run

I agree, it could be drugs or alcohol, check his eyes next time he acts like that.

But, it could also be that he's going thru something personal right now that he can't or won't share with you. Have patience, be kind to him, but be firm in saying to him that you will not accept his behavior, he needs to take it out on the person he's really mad at.

Consider that he may be on drugs and/or alcohol as a possibility
